I know a lot of hip hop heads look at the 90's as probably the best era in rap. There was also a lot of overrated rappers that came along during this time too. I would start by saying Spice 1. Who would you put on the 90's most overrated list??

SlickestR, stop it homie. Them cats weren't overrated. Pac, and probably BIG, would have a song out right now about Trayvon Martin. Rap lost it's ? , but that's a topic for another day.

What Big are you talking about? dude never talked about politically charged ? never just shock or flash thats it. Romantacizing kats from the 90's is why so many rightly think Biggie and Pac are overrated... -
I'm really having a hard time answering this question.
-
I can name alot more underrated than overrated.
-
tupac and biggie, both trash.
-
It is great!

In the 90's?- its hard because every answer feels wrong. For anyone i type theres always a "but wait"
ill go on a limb and say De La Soul maybe Raekwon
i think it should be established too that calling someone overated doesnt mean they're trash/bad/wack. Or that u dislike them
Since the 90's? Snoop. without question -
I thought Pac and BIG too even though thats a controversial answer. They were good, they are legends, but ? treat them like ? cause they died. They became larger than hip-hop itself, but Raekwon, Ghostface, Nas, Redman, DMX were my favorites then. Its like LL how was the biggest dude in the 80's but ? really really liked Rakim KRS G Rap Kane etc.

Can I say LL and not get stoned to death?
edit... ? came in the 80s... still overrated tho... -
some one from Wu Tang
or Nas
and whoever said Spice 1 should be stoned
