The guy you heard on "Play your Part" is D.A. from Chester French they are a part of the "Northern Soul" movement, they are signed to Pharell from Neptunes.
Signing a token-white artist isnt racism its intelligent marketing, you want the consumer to feel like a part of the music and movement so that they are willing to invest in it with their $$$$$$$.
We both know that Rozay could have gone the JayZ route and signed a Rita Ora or scooped up a Ke$ha to appease the buying demographic but that ? aint got nothing to do with the essence of the culture and the movement to keep this ? grass-roots and from the neighborhood.
