A man equipped with several firearms and body armor killed four people, including a toddler, on Wednesday in Gilbert, Ariz., authorities told azcentral.com. He then killed himself.
The shootings took place after 1 p.m. Within an hour, police were walking through the residential area where the shootings took place, according to azcentral.com.
Police did not provide information about how many people were shot or their conditions, other than the toddler was a girl, between one and 2-years-old.

Residents were told by investigators to stay indoors on Wednesday afternoon.
Gilbert is a city of 208,000 southeast of Phoenix.
The shootings took place after 1 p.m. Within an hour, police were walking through the residential area where the shootings took place, according to azcentral.com.
