Smh at anybody who thinks Ross isn't lyrical. That ? is a poet if there ever was 1.

I'm tired of defending Rappers and Hip Hop to closed minded ignorant people who think every album should sound like a Joey BadA$$ album (love that record btw). That's gotta be the oldest and most recycled cliche' in Hip Hop and it goes over people's heads every time.

Failed thread from the jump. It speaks on the lack of knowledge about the Sport that the OP has.

He isn't and you know this and no I don't think every album should be like Joey BadA$$ but, whats killing hip-hop now is the lack of variety.

So who's actually listened to Ross' music outside of the radio? - I really want y'all to answer that question before anything.

Ross is more lyrical than Talib Kweli, he paints pictures and puts words smoothly like baby oil on a 23 year old phat ? ass. If Rick Ross isn't a "lyrical rapper" then nobody is and that's fact. U might not like what he promotes but that boy is nice!

    Stop reading after that

Rick Ross has the best production to me. Not a fan of him lyrically at all, but he has gotten better in my opinion.

But he's nowhere near Talib Kweli as an MC.

Talib is one of the most overrated ? ever

But I feel like @genocide lcutter is making excuses and saying "yeah" just for the same of trying to make him sound more legit. If u don't listen to Ross' music then u don't listen to it. U don't have to agree with me just to make me happy

I really do from time to time. Ross can make good music I just can't listen to him all the time like most people on this site do.
