Tiger Woods wins the AT&T National today, passes Jack on all time wins list

Tiger won his 3rd tournament of the year today. Most by anyone else on tour this season. Its his 74th tournament win of his career. And with the win he moves into 2nd place on the all time wins list, passing Jack Nicklaus and leaving him 8 short of the all time record set by Sam Snead.

He's still 4 short of the coveted record for most major championship wins, a record still held by Jack Nicklaus with 18. Tiger hasn't won a major since 2008.

    Tiger has a lot of white haters but trust he has just as many white boys who love his ass. Theres no middle ground with him. Anyways he's looked great at times this year and then he's imploded but I feel comfortable saying he's back now...

    there are haters, but alot of it is comparable to Jordan vs Kobe in the sense that the jack fans don't want to see their guy outdone (it doesn't help that tiger is a ? ). its sort of a generational thing. the fans or Arnold Palmer and Jack probably cannot stand tiger. 1. because he is threatening their legacy and 2. he's an ? and not someone who represents the good things about the game. I"m not saying that the Jordan fans dislike kobe for those same reasons. I'm just saying that one group of fans prefer the player that they grew up watching and will stick to his corner. and will hate on the guy who is expected to carry the throne for the sport.

    but if you go to any golf event, and tiger is there. he's a straight up ? to everyone. but when he's winning and making big shots -people love it. and root for him. most people in their 40s and below want tiger to succeed just so that we can all say that we witnessed the greatest golfer the game has ever known.

    Tiger will grab those 4 Majors and more in due time...he still has a long long time in the game. Jack went like 11 years without winning a major.

    yeah, the only concern with Tiger is his durability. golfers usually decline especially once they reach their 40's, but if his health is fine, he should easily be able to win 5 majors in the next 10 or so years.

    Jack also did not win anywhere near as often as Tiger does. Jack took a few more years than Tiger did to get the amount of Majors that Tiger has now on his resume. Honestly if Tiger's knee never would of gave out on him and he did not have to relearn how to drive the ball he would of broken both most tour wins and most major wins by now real talk.

    Yeah tigers prime was unlike anything modern golf has ever seen. That may never be repeated. He will never "be back" because it's virtually impossible. But he's shown this season he can still run the tour
