ODB had some of the greatest flows ever... he's one of the best in Wu-Tang. And Masta is dope as hell. RZA has never impressed me as a lyricist. But he's certainly better than U-? ...
didn't odb steal his rhymes from gza ?
and masta ? almost single handedly killed triumph with that wack ass verse
he's like a human buzz ? . I mean he did have a better lp than ugod. I mean why waste all those dope ass beats when u got 5 dumb nice dudes on ya team ?

He used some of GZA's B lines and made them classics. That's dope as hell.
Masta's verse on Winter Warz > Cappa's verse that everyone always talks about. And his verse on Triumph was nice, but certainly not his best:
"Light is provided through sparks of energy
From the mind that travels in rhyme form
Giving sight to the blind
The dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum
Death only one can save self from
This relentless attack of the track spares none" -
Max B>>>Jim Jones
Drake>>>lil wayne
Jay-z>>>Jaz-o
Eminem>>>Dre

Nas/Az
Az was a better rapper to me but he wasn't as commercially successful as Nas. -

He made a name for himself and developed his sound/style way before Ross, the MMG thing was just a business move -

Drake, Pusha T and 50 made names for themselves before signing with their respective teams, but are still considered proteges. In all actuality all artist make a name for themselves elsewhere or they would never get signed. -

How is working with Wale advantages to Rick Ross, Wale's career was furthered under the tutelage of Rick Ross, Wale’s debut album, “Attention Deficit,” sold 28k in the first week of sales in November 2009. Wale followed that up with his sophomore album, “Ambition,” which sold 164k record in the first week of sales

I'll give you Inspectah Deck over Rza but Gza and ODB and Rza came up together. I think MK is dope but I don't think he's better than Rza. -

I would've cosigned except for the bolded. I ? with Meek but I haven't heard his best track ? with the plethora of hot ? Ross has been dropping.
To the cat that said Obie > Em...? damn man, since the time Obie really came into prominence? CO-? -SIGN. I personally feel Obie is underrated, he makes that heartfelt, introspective, real ? . Word to that stan ? . But really, I think that's a masterful example. I wonder why he got dropped...
-
Obie is underrated but that ? aint on Em's level and he'll tell you that.
Cant believe Japanman said Silk>>> That ? dont even look right even if it is Master P -

@icecoldstew
Full catalogue taken into consideration? Agreed.
Cheers dropped in '03, Encore dropped in '04. I honestly stopped feeling Em as much after MMLP, but TES did have some good songs. What i'm really getting at is that for the 2 albums that Obie dropped post MMLP, I felt they were superior to what Em was doing at the time. Now Obie might say that his mentor was on the top of his game from TES until Obie departed, i'd have to disagree just off of what Obie put out. I do think Obie learned a lot from Em tho, which I guess factors in.
