don't know if a thread was made about this; but i was watching Kool Moe Dee Unsung and didn't even know he made a list..what are some your thoughts..he left Eminem and DMX off because he said they didn't have a large enough body of work; but had Biggie in the top 15:
ok this is taken from his book "Theres A ? On The Mic" heres a run down the people and numbers he has a whole scoring he does and breaks it down in catergories or as he says "elements" those elements are

Substance
Flow
Flavor
Freestyle
Vocal Presence
Live Performance
Poetic Value
Body Of Work
Industry Impact
Social Impact
Longevity

Battle Skills
Each Element has a total of 100 points each all elements are scored and added
percented out to give a final score
But anyways check it out and drop thoughts

lmao @ mack 10 in the top 50 and some of those name ahead of jay and pac
-
Big pun only at 41? Will smith better than pun? No eminem or Dmx? Yeah this list is garbage to me.

i should have done the same

I remember when this list was first announced on the old IC and there were screen shots. I do not remember how long Eminem was around for, I remember people being ? at where Tupac was.Forgot about this list to be honest, there is no GOAT and never will be bro.
-
aint that the wild wild west ? ? ? that old ? ll destroyed his career
-

actually LL ain't destroy his career; but it would have been epic if they did battle each other and not do diss records
-
Old as ?
-
lol at them of the top ten being old school ? with that ''yes yes yall'' ? , ? outta here with that rudamentary lyrics and flow ? .
-

Do you have a link to an article or video were he says he left DMX off the list because he didn't have the body of work?
-
? got Lauryn Hill ahead of Nas, Jay, Ice Cube, Foh old man
-
its honorable what he tried to do especially with the inclusion of the female rappers. by his own standards though the list should be rearranged. craig mack cant qualify...run without dmc and jam master? his industry impact was based on the group not himself...same with treach. ice t should actually be higher. too short should be on the list for his impact on the game alone (i know the ? is a basic rapper). its his list his opinion so i respect it

this i link to a story on it:

this book came out in 2003,i have it,so by 2003 Em and DMX were like what 4 albums deep each ?
-
lol at them of the top ten being old school ? with that ''yes yes yall'' ? , ? outta here with that rudamentary lyrics and flow ? .
i noticed a lot of old school rappers don't like to give props to the ones that came after them
-
Lol I remember reading this list in like 10th grade this list is old. Kool Moe Dee is super bias though...he favors the old school heavily. He put himself a head of Nas lol
-
oh ok seems like this list is kinda old
-
lol @ Ice Tea and Wack-10 in his top 50, but props to him for leaving off Eminem....
-
So Craig Mack was able to make the list based on that criteria, yet DMX & Eminem weren't? plus Craig Mack had like one damn album, while X & Em had like 4 when the book came out smh
-
typical irrelevant old ? list
-
this list is if im correct about almost 15yrs old
-
I think it'd be better if you actually read the explanation behind each choice...you said you saw the Unsung then you also saw Dougie Fresh say even him being ranked 36 if you look at how Kool Mo Dee broke everything down it's hard to argue against it...and yeah the list was done a long ass time ago
-
lmao man dis is a straight up old ? list rofl @ the top 10. Kool Moe Dee shouldnt be ahead of Chuck D, Nas, Jay-Z, or 2pac IMO its his opinion tho no matter how outrageous is looks
-
Craig Mack had longevity? Ol ironic rap lyric ass ?
