I thought It's Pimpin Pimpin was great from the clips, but once I finally saw the whole thing.........ehhhhh. Some classic bits but a lot empty calories so to speak. And the knowledge he was droppin struck me as very Smart-Dumb-? -ish compared to the gems Pryor and Rock and Chapelle would put out there. The idea that the illuminati or gov't or whatever would wanna assassinate his character while letting guys like Paul Mooney or Doug Stanhope or Colbert walk around untouched is hilarious to me.

"I did not get much footage cuz my iphone died, after having been there over 5 hrs!! But I was in 2nd row until we saw him escorted offstage, dude got served. He did not perform, he was too intoxicated, he cracked a few jokes @ ppl in the audience who HE allowed to ask questions . Made me sad and upset.. I was so excited, I was on the floor in the 2nd row- for nothing!! I love Katt, it was a shame 2c him like this"

It's mainly about playing along with the industry politics, just like with chappelle in blue streak when he was upset about them writing a scene with him in a dress disguised as a prostitute,
Katt, even though he's not depicted as the most manly brotha out there went through some of the same things.
He ? on guys like Tyler Perry,Martin Lawrence,Eddie Murphy,Brandon T. Jackson for going with the program. I can post the video.

the freestyle aint the ? but he spoke his mind on these dudes which let you know where his head is/was at about them.
Thats why the majority of black male comedians have to dress up in drag, katt being who he is with the voice and the long hair, i'm sure he was approached to do the same. -

he has his moments but his jokes are limited and that whole blackball out of Hollywood would be legit if not for Paul Mooney still going in on everybody, staying funny, and doing things
