Busta Rhymes' career is better than a lot of people (including Lil Wayne).

El-P should be considered in that hip hop producer talk.

Not all but a lot of old school rappers is out of touch with the 'art of rapping'. IMO the exceptions are KRS, MC Shan, Rakim, Grandmaster Caz, Melly Mell, and etc.

Justin Beiber has the potential to be decent at rapping and the potential to be a top 10 celebs that can rap.

    Radio sucks.

Will Smith last album might have been his best since Big Willie style.

Good or Great West coast and Southern rappers really don't get the respect they deserve.

Saying Pac is a bigger artist than MJ is the dumbest ? ever posted on this site.

The joint with Lil Kim on LAD is/was one of Big's worst songs

Loose Yourself is Em's on classic song

Outkast drop today it will go platinum

Who Shot Ya was not a diss to Pac

Hit'em Up was only good because of the Outlawz verses

Nas is lyrically stronger than most of the B.S. getting mainstream exposure and Pac even though he made good music is more or less an actor who happened to rap (First of all, he starts out dancing around with Digital Underground and kaboom, next week he is a "Thug Life" livin' fool...) GTFOH, Pac...

    1. As a duo, Camp Lo should be mentioned in the same breath as Outkast.

    2. Though ahead of its time when it was released, Illmatic sounds dated (Coming from a huge NAS fan)

3.The Cool is one of the most creative and thought provoking albums in the last ten years

4.Ready to Die is not a 5 Mic album. Even the Source , which was a credible magazine during this time, felt this way.

    5. Name a rapper in the Midwest, including Eminem, that can go bar for bar with Elzhi?

the south didnt ? hip hop. they were just a the scene of the crime..

biggie is top 5 because he has to be one the best mc's you have ever heard. he doesnt have a wack verse. he doesnt a wack song. i think if close enough to a person, male or female, that compares he him rick ross i'd probly stone them to death for blasphemy..

speaking of ross, he doesnt have any qoutables. he doesnt have a "oh sh*t! what he just say? rewind that" moment. respect him a businessman but if dudes in your top 20, we have nothing to talk about..

prior to the benzino beef & the internet i never knew eminem was so hated..

the west didnt fall of the hardest, the east did. most their mainstream artist totally abandoned their signature sound..

hip hop's only gonna get more commercial & its best day are far behind her, the music & the money..

coolio's 'it takes a thief' is a classic album..

2pac is the best rapper because of his influence not necessarily because of his skills..

50 cent didnt snitch on anyone. and as hard as it to believe tip probly didnt either..

all i think of for the moment. im sure i have more..

    My unpopular opinion?

Lil Wayne is the worst thing to ever happen to hip-hop. His popularity astounds me, how the sound of someone deep thorating their mic appeals to anyone is somethign I will never understand.

I believe dream hampton, nasir had ghostwriters that was a sad day for hip hop to find out that info

Reminded me of late august 2001 the 1st time I heard takeover ,how I felt overwhelmed wit grief for nasir
