IMO based on the experience of some my mullatto friends, many issue arise more from how their parents influence ther identity more anything else
Those who came from stable homes seem to be straight (like most people)
The only thing that I feel sorry for is that many mullattos must share the same complextion as the sensitive light skin ?

So what constitutes being a "mulatto"? Do you have to have a black parent and a "insert race" parent, or do you just have to have folks from another race somewhere in your family tree?

I've seen a few tragic mulattos. Once when I was in an Africana Studies class a dude was a mulatto and he was talking about looking different at family reunions and BBQs with the white family members but fitting in perfectly at the black ones.
I would imagine its how they were brought up. If you are brought up as the black sheep (no pun intended) then you develop that "tragic mullatto" mentality. -

there's black people that's born naturally light skin from a dark skin parent. Like a lot of these Red bone ? that ? fall over for are those naturally light skin ? , they ain't mixed with anything else most of the time.
