But its kind of a "black thing" to identify to some degree with the "lowest" of our race, regardless of what they do.
Black people dont like it when somebody thinks theyre "above" what other blacks do -
im above alot of ? PEOPLE do..
period.. -
lol im a hoodlum now too? You seem like the slow one, you dont know ? about me kid

I don't and I hate when blacks do that ? . It's disgusting and how can you even do such a thing. Kick their ass and get them in high gear. If my child wanted to be a hoodlum I would cut them all the way off.

Yall dudes stay confusing real ? for street ?
EDIT: ? what a ? think about you because we don't represent every Black person, even though we kinda do
when i refer to myself as a real niggaha, i mean it in that context
at other times i do use it in referring to ignant behavior
I think thats how most ? use it. When you got ? like Drake callin themselves "real ? " its not because theyre street ? , its because they see themselves as being genuine
But i dont think I wanna be a ? anymore lol
i respect that train of thought, dont forget where you came from though. -
i think that when people say "real ? " they associate it with street involvement because ? in the streets have a credibility to uphold and it relates to their activity in the streets. If they talk about about what they do and aren't actually doing it, they credibility takes a hit and they get labelled as a "fake ? "
so in that aspect, if a street ? ain't really doing what he says he does in the street, he's not a "real ? " -
Kushington wrote: »Black people dont like it when somebody thinks theyre "above" what other blacks do
i think this is what polite's point is. We got wreckless cats running around doing ? and nobody is calling them on it. By nobody, I mean other blacks. They doing what everyone else expects them to do. We the only group in america, where if one suffer, we all have to suffer so no one appears to be doing better than the other. -
i'll never understand why people are so obsessed with being a ?
-
a real ? is some one who'll have your back, thru the good and bad.
a real ? has, morales
a real ? is a ? u can trust your women & or kids around
a real ? is, a man of his word.
a real ? is, trust worthy.
a real ? is, not the one who try to get 1 over you.
a real ? will school u on things .
a real ? will pay you if he owes you.
notable real ? = Master P at one point had a networth of 650 Mill, & every ? who's been around or speak of Master P, never have any ill thing to say about him.
Donovan Mcnabb= that ? got Vick a Job, straight from from the Joint. Even schooled him on how to watch film, how to prepare etc etc.
Kevin Durant - the media have been baiting Kev to bash Westbrook. For a ? so young , and to not get caught up in the media hype, and to back his man's, is real. I know old ass ? , who'll ? on they're team mates at the drop of a penny cough* Kobe. -

Why do we identify with "? " in the first place tho? Why do we call ourselves "? "?
The word is still a racial slur regardless of how we feel about it, because it can cause a negative reaction if the wrong person uses it.
You dont see jews calling themselves "real ? ", or hispanics calling themselves "real spics", asians dont consider themselves "real chinks"

lol... nah now they call themselves ? ... but we'll just ignore that so u can make your point... what is your point exactly? -

Thats the point im trying to get at.
Dudes keep giving me definitions of a "real ? ", when I already know the meaning of the word and the context in which we use it.
But it makes you wonder why black people identify so much with being a ?
Will black people ever stop wanting to be ? ? Its almost like our inferiority is so ingrained in our psyche that we wont allow ourselves to shake free of it -
the term "real ? " has been tossed up and abused by the likes of opportunist rappers, bloggers, and others.....
the term needs to be hung up, young jeezy turned it into a joke.....
"i'm a hunnid percent real ? " "from one real ? to the next ? " "thats real ? ? homie" "only a real ? gon feel ya homie"
all quotes i've heard young jeezy use that have left a bad taste in my mouth about the term "real ? " ..... -

because he's not a man of his word. that's why his credibility takes a hit, he becomes un-trustworthy. he's a liar. u don't have to be a street ? to be a real ? . the word is synonymous with the streets, because it came from the streets.
being a real ? is all about self-conduct and characteristics, the same ? that makes someone a "reliable trust worthy good person" is what makes a "real ? "
everybody is "reliable and trust worthy" until u really get to know them. and everybody is a "real ? " until you ,really get to know them. -
Smh at calling urself a ?
-
Young Jeezy is a mundane rapper and needs to hang it up, I just can't wait for black men to pull up their pants, quit saying ? , wear polos that FIT and jeans that FIT and a BELT and tucked in shirt. Is it that hard to look like you have morals, character, and a decent human being?!!!

Sometimes I run into people who lie about what they "gon do" somtimes. Thats a reason I dont associate with em. Like dont say you gon do somethin when you aint. People got all kinds of messes goin on and I avoid this. I stay outta all that nonsense out there. -

well don't quote me on this, but some black people feel like they take the power out of the word when they use it. Um... the meaning of "? ", "? ", "? " means Black.

Real ? = real person = genuine person

This was the original meaning (even though I don't agree with the overuse of the word, especially when it's not used between two black people who are okay with the use of the word). I'm not sure what these new dudes use it as though. Depending on who you talk to, the definition is all over the place.
I hear some people acting like it's synonymous to a poor black person in a crime-filled neighborhood, who resorts to criminal activity as a means to make money. While another group of people act like it means you're a tough guy who gets all the women and money.

A Real ? is the lowest sub culture of African American's.
Real ? are blamers. In the mind of a Real ? , everyone wants to keep him/her down. His/her situations is the way it is because of someone else.
Where ever you see any area where mostly Real ? live it's usually the most ? up place to live within that city. But to them it's not there fault.
To a Real ? any African American that decided to work hard his ass off and achieve something for themselves and their families is a sellout and at the same time feels that they should give something back to them as if they gave something to that person to help him/her achieve their success.
Real ? are a disgrace to AAs everywhere. When an AA is stereotyped or profiled it because of Real ? . Real ? was burglarizing George Zimmerman's neighborhood prior to Trayvon going out for skittles......
