the reason is so biased of course posters will deny it. music is too subjective and posters wanna hide it, they feel if they listen to someone others won't like it, so they defend them by bring up sales and moving units to prove that rappers are making more that posters who hold down a 9-5 job or who are college students. You can like more than one artist it doesn't matter who you're choosing, the problem is when you place rappers in a box and condemn anyone who wants to take a listen.

I think that the majority of the reason are the like black panther of the dope indy hip-hop movement, the underdogs who really make great music, they rebel against anyone who like commercial artists cause they appeal to children and anyone who's still wants to live out they teenage experience, but i think some of these posters secretly like some of these mainstream artists and they try to hide it but they end up slipping so i think that is the reason why the reason ends up being biased

I hope my last post doesent evoke any emotions from posters who may have felt slighted by being raised outside the U.S. or being out of touch with HipHop.....feelings may ensue.

The "He will never go platinum dude" is a favorite rebuttle of Reason posters who think that Rakim is less of an artist than Chingy just because Chingy has Platinum plaques for his solo albums and Rakim doesent.

They brag about how Insane Clown possee have platinum albums and The Roots dont.

I dont ? on LiL Wayne 24/7 like these geeks do because LiL Wayne is marketing himself to the buying-consumer just like JayZ is but using a different methodology. One guy rides a skateboard & the other guy raps in French.

I listen to all HipHop from ? -rap to conscious-rap and underground to mainstream so I could care less if the Reason is biased against LiL Wayne or infatuated with Nas because the Reason has no control over me and what I prefer to listen to.

what posters are not understanding, is that some rappers rather stay true to what they spitting, other rappers are known for certain sub-genre of music, money rules the world and most of these mainstream rappers have proved it. They will dumb down anything to get more profit and recognition in the higher echelon of music and the industry

Insane clown posse have a strong core fan base and die hard stans that will buy copy after copy, same with Wu-Tang and some smaller hip-hop groups that stayed in the game. Why is it that Too Short has more longevity than most of these rappers that came after him? He wanted to change his direction with rapping with a message, but the ? at the offices of his label won't allow it, because he's has his own lane, he's known for talking about ? ? and pimping young ? that can make it rain.

I can listen to anyone i choose to, music shouldn't be limited to just Nas, Big Krit, J Cole and SchoolBoy Q. Everyone brings something different to the table, there's sub-genre of hip-hop that you will listen to when you got your pay-stub in hand, and there's other hip-hop tracks that you will listen to when you've got a bad ? in your bed, or if you like going to the club, How you gonna listen to "The Message" by Nas to get crunk and act rowdy with your friends?

really cant call it.....cats get too emotionally invested for starters......people like what they like tho,....me, ? it if i dont like ya music, still wishing the best.....since wayne is being thrown around, i'll say dude is wack to below average to me but i would never question why he has fans or feel the need to constantly bash....at some point you start to see that its just music and take it for wat it is....seems like the rappers are united and the fans are divided

Seems like the majority of The Reason hates YMCMB to be honest...majority of threads about them outside of a few posters are people saying Wayne is garbage, Drake is ? , Nicki should just do porn and Birdman is robbing all of them. If that's love, ya'll ? must be taking lessons from Chad Johnson

because its the hip hop thing to do. Lets all hate wayne so we can look like real hip hop heads!!

On the internet the hip hop thing to do is to hate an artist so bad it almost seems personal. Yeah we know Wayne's not the same as he was 5, 6, 7 years ago, but some ? act like they came home and found this ? sitting at the head of the table eating the big piece of chicken. ? can't just dislike the music it's gotta be "? Wayne and if you rap with Wayne ? you too"...? look at the reaction Tech9 got from his fans for just doing an interlude on Wayne's album that Wayne wasn't even rapping on

And these people dont realize their the ones losin havin negative, mad and hateful energy in them and the rappers they hate are winnin havin fun and dont even know or care what they say.

You can tell these posters who judge everything by what they see on the IC or whatever other forums they're on. ? will attempt to judge how big an artist is by how many threads are made in The Reason about them. You really got some posters who feel like if there's not a thread on the front page of The Reason about a rapper, then they have no buzz. ? was saying Cole had no buzz before his album dropped because "His Reason fans stopped talking about the album' but he debuted at #1...? said Drake had no buzz after Take Care dropped because there was only 1 thread about his album yet the ? had 4-5 songs all on radio at the time...Jeezy had nobody checking for his album, career was over...#1 album out the gate...some of these fools need to go outside and experience life and actually hear what people are listening to

Cats have their own opinions and consider things "biased" when they disagree with you.

For example they called me "biased" for saying project pat is wack. These are the same cats that will say things like "soulja boy is as good or better than run DMC"

    "shawty redd>>>dj premier"

    Etc

But those opinions aren't "biased" that's called "keeping it real" I mean it is what it is.

People promote certain rappers to the point that makes no sense. If theyre gettin paid thats different. Which actually makes normal people sick of hearing about those rappers before they even drop, eliminating any interest, and hurting those artists in the end. hahaha. And they are against whoever the artists are "against". Unproductive behavior.Hahaha

nah... you really gotta read some of these post... ? is obvious plants... it's a very common practice on forums, blogs and news sites.

some company's hired people just to promote.

Video Game companies get caught doing that ? constantly.
"posters" coming in just to bash a certain product only to turn around and praise a completely different product, CONSTANTLY.

News Stations bump up ? post to prevent the more competent post from being seen.

it is completely plausible that- that kinda nonsense is taking place here...

    signs to look out for:
poster constantly has links readily available to back up even the most tiniest, most obscure and most random claims.

poster constantly derails topics when they can no longer control the mindset in the thread.

    Interesting...
