Reading the story and the weapon he had which is a .45 caliber hand gun more than likely a 1911 variant . The police shot a lot of the innocent bystanders. at least 4 people were shot by the police by my calculations. He shot the person he wanted to shoot than fled the scene. The police caught up to him he pointed his gun they opened fire.

Tipster Vladimir Dusil sent us these images of the body of a man who allegedly opened fire outside the Empire State Building earlier this morning.
The alleged shooter, who was killed by police on the scene, has been identified as Jeffrey Johnson, a 53-year-old women's accessories designer who'd been laid off from his job at Hazan Imports. He apparently shot and killed a former coworker before being chased and shot by police; as these photos show, he's said to have been wearing a grey suit. The scene's other victims, it's now believed, were likely hit by stray police bullets — as has been pointed out, Johnson's gun only held eight bullets, three of which he used on his former manager. And yet nine people were shot.
According to the tipster: "I took these images off our balcony with a Nikon D800+ 70-200vrII." -

Oh ok. I didn't know they just strip the body at the scene like that. So that other picture of a dead guy in jeans must've been the manager he shot.

I wonder if anybody in media asked Mayor Bloomberg & his henchman Police Chief Kelly.. are they going start allowing the police force to stop & frisk more white males who look suspicious.. or are they going to stick to just harassing young black & latino men with stop & frisk policy...
