Cedar Lake police were called to the home of 60-year-old Von I. Meyer early Friday after he allegedly threatened to set his wife on fire. A police statement says Meyer also said he would enter Jane Ball Elementary School and "? as many people as he could."
Authorities found 47 guns and ammunition worth over $100,000.
Prosecutors filed felony intimidation charges against Meyer on Saturday, one day after the massacre at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. He is being held without bond.

we don't need gun laws. We should make sure that the maniacs are out gunned when they try to pull off their ? . They didn't stop making guns when that conn. boy grabbed his. It's just the right people didn't have theirs. If he would have been out gunned 10-1 upon entering that school. It would have been a shorter day for him.

The day "blacks", police or the general public profiles white people is the day that "Latinos" become the majority or the day when the media quits portraying Caucasians as nothing but positive while marginalizing the negatives.
We need more stricter gun laws, but lobbyist will stop that from happening anytime soon. If anything blacks should be the biggest supporters of gun laws as you got racist whites, ignorant blacks, anti-black latino gangs, ? beating cops I swear there ain't enough bullets and guns to protect you and your family from racist ignorant society.
Also we need some high level highly trained security at these schools with guns that match these shooters if this keeps up because these cowards go in feeling invincible killing these kids.

Are you serious? That would have been madness. Not everybody is equipped to handle guns. Imagine if you had given a bunch of teachers weapons who might not even like the idea of firing one. You also have to take into account that kids would be panicked if much more people were shooting. It might have been 50 people dead instead of 27.
who said anything about teachers. This lilly white world some of you live in is quite astonishing. I've been in high schools that you enter through a metal detector with an armed guard watching in both Dallas and Chicago. I live in Texas now, you not taking any of these boys guns away. So what you going to do. Sit and wait till this happens again. Like that meme says. Making guns illegal will do just as much as making ? illegal. -

It's my opinion that white people will still not be profiled to the extent that people of color will be anytime soon. Racism and the grasping of white supremacy will not allow that to happen.
really? i think each race has its own sorta stereotypes which can lead to profiling. with things like school shootings, ? addicts , or white collar criminals everyone just says, "oh he must be white" and thats fine. the numbers probably back that up so i don't see the issue. if some school officer sees a gothic look dude carrying suitcase into a school, pretty sure that officer is gonna assume ? might get real. And if i'm out and my car won't start and i'm in the hood and 3 black guys approach me in some ? head clothes, i'm guessing that they aren't walking over to push me out of the road and contact AAA. but then again, if white guys come up looking the same way, then its probably my mechanics -

Guns can be a good form of protection in the right hands.
EXAMPLE:
Let's say a 6' 7", 300 lb homicidal maniac breaks into your mother's house. The homicidal maniac doesn't need a gun... He can ? your mother with his bare hands. Your mother, on the other hand, is gonna need some type of protection to save her life.... In a case like that, a gun is necessary.
Some idiot with an arsenal of semi-automatic handguns and assault rifles is not protecting himself. That's completely unnecessary.
