Simping involves emotion of grandiose in regards to a person you desire in which you receive nothing in return. It takes a concentrated effort to do whatever it takes to get this woman to like/love you by sacrificing dignity, self-worth, time and money.

It's a disease that overtakes a person's ability to think clearly and the person is prone to getting taken advantage of as the profuse emotion overtakes the soul. The only way to prevent this disease is by having self-confidence and by not giving a ? in regards to being accepted/liked.

^With that said, I don't think you were simping, because you didn't desire the woman and you weren't trying to make her accept you/fall in love with you. If anything you were being a chump as by definition.

    chump:
    /CHəmp/
    Noun
    A foolish person.
An easily deceived person; a sucker.

Synonyms:? , can-carrier, chopping block, easy victim, dupe, easy mark, trusting soul, victim, whipping boy

I'm glad you rescinded your offer to her as she would have used this moment to ask you more favors in the future. Keep up the good fight and don't give anyone an inch or they'll take a mile.

it approaches simping only on the level that you are inconviencing yourself for her in hopes of......?
if it was a man i think A) your answer woulda been NO right away or B)you would only agree to with explicit muthafuckin agreement that the favors gonna be returned

now if you took her shift to work a double, no harm no foul. cuz you're doubling ya bread & even if ya intentions are hop on that in the future u might could be killin 2 birds

At what point does niceness become simping?

The line between the two is kind of blurry to me.

If a guy and a girl are acquaintances from school/work, talk occassionally, and the man asks her out on a date and she says no.. was that simping?

What if he starts going out of his way to do nice things for her, compliments her, puts in time to try and get a date with her... is he simping?

Would it be simping if she had a man?

What details would there have to be for it to be simping?

when you start doing ? like this...you're gone deep in the simp lake
