I prefer several Bk mc's over Jay and Big. BDK, Yasin and GZA for starters.

If it ain't Jay or Big why would you even bother considering anyone else?
He up there with them and his content has more substance and depth than theirs.

AZ has always been one of my top 5, if not 3, co sigs all day
-
LOL at this thread, fail for many reasons including AZ never switches up his flow and he doesn't have a classic.
Oh yeah, ? doesn't even have the impact to even be in this debate. -
Az is a great technical rapper but what does he rap about honestly? He's pretty one dimensional and has been using the same flow for 19 years no artistic growth what so ever.
-
I can't agree with this thread's premise.
AZ does not have even a classic.BlackGerald wrote: »AZ's discography is just not good enough

Yo, AZ's cousin, settle down.
His discography is solid but no classics. -

This is a lie, Usmarin3. -
It's not a lie, i actually ? with AZ's music up until The Format. Dude uses the same rhyme structure and no Do or Die nor Aziatic are classics.
-
My bad, I meant about the switching up flow patterns.
Co-signed on him not having a classic. -
I always thought AZ sount like a lesbian
-
Doe or Die isn't a classic? The ?

I love the Wu, but never understood the big whoop about GZA.....I rather listen to ? .....matter of fact, when i'm listening to Shadow Boxing...I skip GZA's verse to get to ? 's verse.
Get this ? too rap genius that gza verse is nice -
AZ got one of the greatest flows ever, ? you want him to change it for??????? Stupid ass statement I hear to often, ? you want him to do slow it down sometimes, speed it sometimes and then you will mention him as a possible goat??? Lol ? ? , listen to his flow right here and tell me how he should of switched it up

^^dont get much better than that -
? need to stop throwing names out there and attaching greatest to it. bk has a few rappers that have a argument for goat(and im talking all of hip hop not just the boro)...biggie, jay, bdk...some like az might be above average but they are nowhere near goat status and i ? with az
-
AZ in that Big L, O.C., GZA,etc tier. That dude is nowhere near people like Jay, Biggie, etc.

The ? uses the same ? cadence on every track, that ? gets stale and redundant after a while. Being a great artist entails being diverse. The ? raps like he writes his lyrics first then add beats afterwards. -
OC, anyone? Better than AZ, I would put him a notch below Big and Jay same level as Mos Def maybe.

Sheeit, that's good company to be in. They don't have the success, but they still got bars and dope albums. -
I coulda wrote that GZA verse with no effort.....and I dont even Rap. It was a total snoozer. ? stomped the ? outta him on his own song.....thats the truth. -
Nas was born in Brooklyn. He even started performing in Brooklyn playing the trumpet on street corners.
-
Jay the greatest rapper from Brooklyn if not BDK but I just wanna shout out Buckshot real quick. Also GZA is the most lyrically sharp.
-
Ya'll forget about ODB?! He does it for the kiiiiids!

OC had a couple weak records but his first 2 are dope. And Word... Life is crazy slept on.
