I thought that southside was a good solid album. I thought that Lloyd was gonna be one of the up and coming r'n'b artists expecially when he signed to Def Jam (Which he no longer is).
But since this he hasn't really made many moves and is still not very well known on a mainstream level. I have downloaded so many of his songs but they are mostly garbage and it looked like he was running out of ideas.
But when he featured on "Bedrock" Which has only recently become popular in the UK i thought that he might have another chance to be successful on a mainstream level.
Personally i think that he should keep doing chorus' because i don't think that his own song are going to be as popular as ones he features on.

Nice homeboy good look. I can't listen to it cause I'm at work but I'll listen when I get home. I think Lloyd already made it, he's just not as big as he should be. About him singing choruses, what you guys know about the song "Forever". It's 8ball and mjg feat Lloyd, give that a listen. -
nair. his songs are aight, but i don't see him makin moves anytime soon

'Street Love' was a GREAT album.
But, I was disappointed with 'Lessons in Love'. And haven't really been feeling the new leaks. I dunno.
He's always been very hit-or-miss, to me. -
yes...the funny thing is, i was just talkin about Lloyd,i was wondering where this ? went... i don't see why he can't make it, all his albums were listenable... "Lessons in Love" is his best album by far... this guy has all the tools to make it in this bizz,he has; the image, he's very buisness savvy, the talent (he writes his own songs) and most importantly the passion.... this ? love his music to death... i think that's his best asset by far, is his passion for music... this ? has the potential to be great in my opinion...

i liked his first album pretty decent for a rookie in the game....he shouldve kept the producers who made his first album

Yes...he will, Lloyd has that drive you can't ignore. I must admit I'm not in love with his new songs but at least he's coming out with music.
