quit lyingLOL.....
I don't want to get embarrassed......
11:7
Sahih International
And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."
i blame translations, cuz they can be misleading, the word ayyama does not mean day in th literal sense, it means stage or phase
Yes........
Translations are always posing problems with interpretations........
Any known problems surrounding the meaning of creation/إخلق ??????????????
23:14
Sahih International
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.
that verse is about embryonic development, what's your point
blessed is Allah , the best of creators.....................@Kai_Valya
We should ask these Anti-Evolutionist
Where is their nobel peace prize?
Or their Peer-reviewed papers disproving it.
i've got an even better one for them, why do they go to get a new flu shot every year. what was wrong with the shot they got last year

Well to sum it up......
If you believe in the theory of evolution then......
You also believe in this.......
On the low......
It is more important than you can possibly imagine.........
you're thinking about evolution in linear terms, and it doesn't work like that. individuals don't evolve, species don't evolve, populations evolve. individuals in a population vary and those that survive propgate their genes, over time the populations evolves. as this happens again and agian over millions of years you would end up with a very different species in one population than you would in the other one, based on what genes survived in the population and which were eliminated.
evolution doesn't go in a straight line, it's ever more intricately branching web
Different does not equal a new species.......
"I also think that racial differences are a long way from being cosmetic, and there’s no evolutionary reason for us to be the homogeneous species that a lot of people claim we are- it would mean evolution stopped the day modern humans evolved, which is just anti-logic........
There’s biological evidence to the contrary, like different gestation spans, twinning rates etc, and more recent genetics publications that have outright backed race as valid. Which will instantly label me as a racist in many peoples eyes, which is probably why a lot of publishing Phds don’t comment publicly on race"...........
if it's different enough (as in two pop. not being able to produce viable offspring) yes that does equal a new species
But this has never been observed..........
speciation has never been observed? to different populations diverging and going on to result in different species has never occured? seriously?
Seriously......
Not one new species named from these "observations.......
so you use a video from creationists to support your point? you've got to be kidding me
Everything said in that video is academically correct................
Mutation is the cause for a new flu shot every year........
You don't go get an "ulf" shot one year and the "flu" the next........
From year to year it is the influenza virus.......
Nothing more nothing less.....
The virus mutates but does not "evolve" into a new species........
is it really? show me the studies and evidence that support the assertion that speciation never occurs, i'll wait
Not to be pretentious......
But you should be providing evidence that it does occur.......
The main example used by evolutionists is Diane Dodd's fruit fly experiment........
However......
Diane Dodd's fruit flies are still fruit flies, regardless of whether they prefer mates who eat maltose or starch......

If you are stuck in a theory and are not willing to change your mind, you're probably wrong, atleast in the long run science adapts to new experiments, discoveries, and information. In 1000 years they will either debunk most of what Darwin thought or simply modify it

I Am Jay ? wrote: »atleast in the long run science adapts to new experiments, discoveries, and information. In 1000 years they will either debunk most of what Darwin thought or simply modify it
I see people say that science adapts to new information a lot around here........
This is simply incorrect............
The field of science is similar to many other business models............
A company, or in this case school or institution has put everything that it has into a certain theory or set of ideals..............
New information that changes the destination of money or in this case paradigm..............
Will likely meet resistance..........
Science is not as adaptive as most people think..............
Even questioning established "norms" like evolution or biological human variation can get professionals expelled or banned for questioning "science".........

Will Scientists Ever Be Able to Piece Together Humanity's Early Origins?
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=will-scientists-ever-be-able-piece-together-humanitys-early-origins
This article was originally published with the title Shattered Ancestry.
*Not with the fossil record*
In Brief
Paleoanthropologists have long thought that humans descended from a chimpanzeelike ancestor and that early human fossils belonged to a single evolving lineage. According to this view, only later did our predecessors diversify into multiple overlapping branches of humans, of which our species is the sole survivor.
Recent fossil discoveries have upended that scenario, however, providing intriguing evidence that the last common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees may not have looked particularly chimplike and that our early forebearers were not alone in Africa.
The findings are forcing researchers to reconsider what traits indicate that a species belongs on the line leading to us—and to question whether it will ever be possible to identify our last common ancestor.

Irreversible Evolution? Dust Mites Show Parasites Can Violate Dollo’s Law
By Christie Wilcox | March 8, 2013 5:00 pm
In evolutionary biology, the notion of irreversibility is known as Dollo’s Law after the Belgian paleontologist that first hypothesized it in 1893. He stated that once a lineage had lost or modified organs or structures, that they couldn’t turn back the clock and un-evolve those changes. Or, as he put it, “an organism is unable to return, even partially, to a previous stage already realized in the ranks of its ancestors.”
While this isn’t the first time that Dollo’s Law has been questioned, it’s the first strong evidence that parasitism might not be the evolutionary “blind alley” we tend to describe it as. The more scientists use genetics to study the evolutionary relationships between organisms, the more they find that Dollo’s Law is less law-like than once thought, broadening our understanding of evolution as a whole and challenging our assumptions about how it works.

Mash buttons ? ......
You would not dare step to the ? ...........

Man lose a single debate ... lose your damn mind.
-
I lost no debate here......
& possess full mental capabilities......
I never agreed to that debate.........
Went thru with it for the hell of it.........
The mod told me one thing and did another.......
Exhibit A:Sion April 21
Alright gentlemen to figure this out we gotta decide on a topic. I thought the existence of ? topic was cool but I want to make sure both of yall on the same page. Come up with topics you guys are comfortable with and want to debate.
Drew_Ali April 21
Whites becoming extinct.............
Sion April 22
Nah fam that one isn't going to be popular with posters, seems so one sided too. At least give the ? a topic that's worth debating. After all yall did agree to debate against each other.
Drew_Ali April 22
Ok.....
However the ? debate seems asinine......
Oceanic April 22
Lol you will lose
Oceanic April 22
I'm down, Sion. Good call.
Oceanic April 22
Could I request that we have the topic reworded to intelligent design since "? " is such a loaded word?
Oceanic April 22
the new wording would be, "the existence of an intelligent designer"
Drew_Ali April 22
LOL......
I will agree to any debate with you......
After you acknowledge defeat of the previous "whites will be extinct" argument....
Kneel....
Sion April 22
Ok are you guys cool debating in a new thread called "the existence of an intelligent designer" ?
Oceanic April 22
I'm cool with that @Sion
Sion April 22
Alright perfect,
Drew_Ali are you cool with that as well ?
Drew_Ali April 22
Again.....
I will debate any topic......
After defeat of the previous "whites will be extinct" argument is acknowledged....
Oceanic April 22
foh with that
Oceanic April 22
We didn't even argue that topic. Stop trying to wiggle out of a debate.
Oceanic April 22
@Sion, if he continues to trip, can I debate someone else on the same topic??
Drew_Ali April 22
No....
Not after your attempts to assassinate and slander me in several threads.......
You were defeated soundly......
So much so that you changed your stance on the topic.......
However....
You now perpetrate like you want to actually debate the topic........
You will concede defeat........
Or be prepared to argue your misbegotten theory...........
Sion April 22
Ok I'm going to edit the first thread that's locked & yall will debate.
Oceanic April 22
"Nah fam that one isn't going to be popular with posters, seems so one sided too. At least give the ? a topic that's worth debating. After all yall did agree to debate against each other."
Oceanic April 22
cool
Sion April 22
Thread has been re-edited as "The Existence of an Intelligent Designer" & it's open.
Drew_Ali April 22
This ? has yet to accept defeat......
Their will be no glory in his sacrifice.......
Drew_Ali April 22
I will have his s\n erased from the histories.......
Sion April 22
^^^ Got dayum LOLOL
Gonna be dope as hell to see what yall come with
And you of all people know that I have already bodied all you atheists on this subject......

-
I could care less.....
Nothing else to prove here...
However, I am not the one who made an ass of himself.....
The ? that lied and cheated made ? of themselves, b......
-
Didn't read but who cares. This seems so petty to drag it on. You made an ass of yourself & lost fair and square. You could have probably won the debate if you put more effort into it. You should be directing your frustrations to the Champion not me.
Exactly, man, I wasn't feeling you to your last bit of the debate and even than you lost still. If you can't humble yourself after this man, it will be a rocky road.
-
Win or lose, this ? bambu is entertaining.. lol..

I shot a fair one.........
This ? took cheap-shots & couldn't even "shake hands" after the ? was over...............

Even after the mods said it was on me......
Miss me with your feelings, b..........
Had to bring it here cause the thread got locked...........

Fossils Indicate Common Ancestor for Old World Monkeys and Apes
Find suggests Old World monkeys and apes diverged 25 million years ago.
Chris Palmer
15 May 2013
http://www.nature.com/news/fossils-indicate-common-ancestor-for-two-primate-groups-1.12997
Two new Oligocene primates found in Tanzania, Rukwapithecus fleaglei (foreground left) and Nsungwepithecus gunnelli (background right), are shown here in an artist's reconstruction.
However......Many fossils from the late Oligocene are teeth, so it is common to use them for species identification. However, basing the identification of a new primate on a single tooth fossil has lead to the occasional case of mistaken identity in the fossil record.
LOL @ the nerve of these anti-creationists...........
