Freddie Gibbs speaks honestly about his split from Young Jeezy, calling Jeezy fake.
Freddie Gibbs parted ways from Young Jeezy's CTE label last year, following rumors that the two may be ending their affiliation. At first, it seemed like Gangsta Gibbs was keeping his mouth shut about the split, saying only that it was a mutual business decision. As time progresses Gibbs has opened up more about the split, and revealed that it was not an amicable one.
In a new interview with XXL, Freddie spoke on his departure from CTE and his former associate, Young Jeezy. He doesn't hold back this time, saying that anything Jeezy will tell you about the split will be sugarcoated. Gibbs even admits to being "political" at first, and that's why he didn't want to say too much about what happened.
When asked if Jeezy was supportive of the Indiana native doing his own thing, Gibbs responded, "? no. Anything he tells you, it’s going to be fake. I am going to give you the real. He gonna give you the sugarcoated version. That’s the difference between me and him. He gonna give you the sugarcoated ? , I am going to give you the real. At first, when that whole split happened, I was being political about it. I was thinking, ‘Man, I don’t want to ? up my relationship.’ But ? that ? my ? . I’m feeding the whole city. That ? don’t do ? for me. I am going to point a ? out when he bogus and he was bogus for not owing up to his business relationship and doing what he was supposed to do business-wise. Like I said, I never needed the ? to do nothing for me, but do what you said what you were gonna do. You don’t hold true to your word, I don’t respect you. So I don’t respect no ? that don’t hold true to his word. All that ? you rapping; I don’t respect none of that ? ."
Freddie Gibbs also spoke on his upcoming album, ESGN, saying, "I think it’s going to be a big deal too. It’s going to be my first solo ? . Me separating from CTE. I’m extremely happy about that. Because a lot of guys wrote me off, Jeezy included. He really wrote me off. I am about to show that ? what it really is. I am about to open that ? ’s eyes up and show that ? that I mean ? business. He wrote a ? off, but I am definitely about to show that ? that I mean business. And show that ? who the realest ? in it. That’s what I am on now."
Gibbs adds that ? Pinata with Madlib is going to arrive in October this year.

It's funny every 5th new rapper out claims he's the "realest in the game"....lol
Build ya buzz up and make yaself hot instead of waiting around on another ? to handle your business...Jeezy prolly knows dude ain't gonna blow up no time soon and said ? wasting my time and money
"Not saying it's right..…but i understand" -

So what if he was? People bring that up like he couldn't of been in the streets because his dad might of been a cop. And Honestly, I'd say dude is one of the realest in the game along with 50 cent, because he doesn't bite his tongue even though that's probably not the best approach diplomatically and he's possibly burning bridges. -
? and just make music officer gibbs
-
Gibbs should of just charged it to the game & not said nothing about it, everybody know Jeezy don't do ? for ? signed to him.. Damn near all the features on both Gibbs CTE mixtapes was people he worked with before hell Jeezy just used that ? for some hot verses on TRIB 1 & 2
-
Gotdammit Gibbs..Not like this...? had so much potential, and I feel like he gettin totally black balled now...But I still respect him and his craft so much...

This is sad. I love Gibbs and Jeezy. I think Jeezy could have handled it better.

Gangsta Gibbs ready to go to war with Jeezy. -
ESGN July 9th.
-
one thing i never understood
if the rap world if full of fake gangsters and ? boys
then its obvious that ppl care more about ability than they do about authentic gangstas
so when someone comes in claiming they are real gangstas and everyone else is ?
but the game is full of ? ?
how u think those ? ? gonna react?
they aint gonna react to you kindly
so therefore, why u trying to be a rapper so bad?
if rap world full of ? ? , and you are a gangsta ? , then why u think u can succeed in that environment -
