JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON MARTIN: OBAMA FIGHTS BACK

Double Jeopardy is the State charging you twice for the same crime. It's like Young Vito killing being acquitted in the murder of Slim Dunkin but going down for gun charges. The federal government has different statues so they can charge you under entirely separate non-state, federal laws. It the same way you can get charged in multiple states. I'm not sure what federal laws apply here, but being that a gun was involved, it does fall under federal guidelines but i would think that would be more limited to federally banned guns.

the federal has no business getting involved in this case
It's over
Now if you nigglettes want to see real change you'd find out who your congressman is and their stance on gun laws
Floridas bizaare defense/gun laws are the reason things like this happen -
and stop treating Obama like batman
Real talk
Learn how your government works -

This could be a way for the Federal government to challenge such a law. -

If true, white people aren't going to like this.

If true, white people aren't going to like this.
If true nobody would like it because it'd set a standard that would inevitably ? over people in the future -
A lot of ignorance in this thread by people like Jamel and Fiat.
This has nothing to do with Batman or some unrealistic never seen before action. In fact after the Rodney King police officers were acquitted blacks started rioting and republican president Bush filed federal charges against them which found them guilty.
Read a book morons...
PS: hahaha at backfire...because right now blacks are in such a great position in the american judicial system. please lets not jeopardise it fellow ? -

I think it's still important for us to come together and discuss the possible outcome, pros and cons of such an operation regardless of whether it goes down or not.
If action is taken, what should be done and where should it be coming from? If not the government which is so often the case as it isn't their place, then who? How? Or is this another circumstance where we lay down and take it? -
if a black man kills him he gonna get life in prison ...the only question is it worth it sitting in cage

Sadly the average citizen, could not even name who their local or state Congressman/woman is.
Let alone know they have a legal right to call /connect that that elected man or woman pretty much anytime they want, with issues that concern their community
Ain't that Obama's job??? -

>writes that President Bush filed federal charges against the cops, when it was actually a federal grand jury that indicted them for a civil rights violation
Not only are those two very different things, it's also a very different scenario from this one.
Hopefully, you made a mistake of some sort there; otherwise, your post is hilariously-ironic. -

The Department of Justice under bush filed the charges though. It's not like Obama himself filed the charges. It may have been under a different law but he didn't say specifically what the charges were. -

The idea of President Bush filing charges against the cops is just as laughable as the idea of Obama filing charges against Zimmerman.
It's like saying Obama mints the coins. -

Yeah i agree, but that's obviously the media invoking Obama's name for what the Justice Department is doing under his tenure. Obviously, Obama can make suggestions as could Bush. -

The FBI already took a swing at this ? once before, and couldn't find evidence of a civil rights violation. -

All that will follow is backlash and people then questioning why he didn't speak about _______ who was killed by ________ for being ________.
Cosign, it will definitely open Pandora's box.

I don't think people understand the role of the President. Something like a mass murder, yeah speak on that. Something like a not guilty verdict the majority of the country feels is guilty...not his place. It was enough that he already spoke of Trayvon (my son would look like him) and even that was pretty surprising to me.
The country loves putting Obama in a bad position.
Probably would've been better if Obama waited till he knew more to speak, but he got caught up in the media hype along with the masses. -
