Ludacris is one of the more versatile rappers out there and he's one of the few rappers where you could use his singles to prove it. His weakness is that he has material that comes off as corny and cliche.
Lil' Wayne on the other hand is a rapper who has his moments. Mixtape Wayne is probably about the best iteration of Wayne as you'll possibly get. Ask people what's Wayne's best album and more than likely they'll say C2. IMO, it's the Wayne album that most closely resembles a mixtape. He's not as good as Luda at crafting songs and comes off as more of a hot 16 bar rapper than an overall great MC.
Ludacriss is a little less versatile imo.
he doesnt have the same emotion as Wayne does

I felt this song wasn't him, but he just "needed' a song like this to make him more well rounded at the time.
I feel that besides presence, delivery, wordplay, flows, you need versatility, longevity and ability to paint pictures.
Regardless, I almost voted Ludacris, but remember the serious flaws in Luda's game in his prime, vs in Wayne's prime. I just had Wayne by percentage points basically went it came down to it, but hey at least i tried breaking it down... -

True and Luda style is more Chicago than anything -

Even if you take that song out of Luda's catalog, do these songs also lack emotion:
Child of the Night
Diamond In The Back
Cold Outside
Two Miles Per Hour
Tell It Like It Is
Hard Times

Either that or uninformed. Let me ask you something CJ, do you think Kanye West is a better MC than Wayne when both in their primes? -

Ludacris
Wayne hasn't been good since 2007. Ludacris for the most part has been consistent lyrically since he debuted in 2000. I'm not really sure what criteria are you judging them on. -
Ludacrislil wayne one of my top 10, luda in my top 3 tho, my fellow wayne fans n stans gotta b foreal tho, compare wayne first 3 to luda first three, luda could rap a whole circle round wayne then, and was at least on par during the prime carter days, he may have fallen off a bit, but so did wayne for sure, i mean now its a ? who tongue twist about money and conjure vs a unmotivated ass ? rappin about ? every line, but even when i had wayne top 5 and he was sayin he was best rapper alive, i always thought luda and fab were better personally, imo luda catalog way more consistent too only disappointments were theatre of the mind, and bots(i like it tho)

LudacrisI like Wayne.
I think he has a classic but lyrically?
He has never seen Luda. -

Drop some of ludas most lyrical tracks -

Ludacrisat what time period?? or are we comparing them both at their primes???
-
Ludacris
how about "Southern hospitality" and "Potion" where the ? Luda put on a clinic with those Rhyme scheme multies.
MVP over the DJ Premier beat >>>> Any song on Waynes last album -
This is actually tough tho.
-
LudacrisI'm voting for Luda cuz I'd rather listen to his ? , preferably older early 2000s ? to be exact.

i got my reasons for picking chris, but u really can go either way, i feel like carter 1 a better album than any of luda's albums
