All this ? about Affleck. Shut. Up. Bruce Wayne has the emotional range of a homing pigeon. He's either fake frat-boying, brooding, or ultra-reflective super brooding. Furthermore, this is the Greatest Joker of All-Time:
Replacing...
I'm just saying, I could play Bruce Wayne/Batman and pull off his two-emotion range. Let's stop acting like they cast Arnold Schwarzenegger to play Hamlet or Othello. We talking comic book movies: 30-45 minutes of "normal" people interaction followed by an hour of fantastical ? blowing up, shocked, exhausted, and angry expressions before 10 more minutes of normal small talk before the credits roll.
Calm. Down. -
Bryan Cranston has reportedly been cast as Lex Luthor in the Batman/Superman team-up sequel to Man of Steel.
The Breaking Bad star is said to have signed up to play Superman’s long-time nemesis for a minimum of six films which could extend to ten.
An official announcement of Cranston’s casting will apparently be scheduled for after Breaking Bad finishes in order for the news to ride the wave of the finale, say Cosmic Book News.
A source told the website: ‘Cranston truly is a dream casting for Luthor’.
Bryan will be joining a cast which includes Henry Cavill as Superman, and Ben Affleck who was revealed to have been cast as Batman this week.
People who were against Affleck landing the part – and there were quite a few – may not be pleased to hear the latest reports which say the Argo director and star could allegedly play Bruce Wayne for a total of 13 appearances in DC films.
Mark Strong was previously rumoured to be in line for the role of Lex Luthor, but having already appeared in one DC film (Green Lantern as Sinestro) was a factor in DC deciding not to go with him, as they are interested in having him play the part a second time.
The hotly-anticipated Batman/Man of Steel film is out in 2015.
I mean he def can play the part, but he might be too old. I wouldn't have been mad if they got dude from Smallville to play lex. Rosenbaum killed this scene

That GL movie wasn't that bad...they don't need a reboot just make the sequel better

I'm not gonna lie I'm not too thrilled about Affleck being casted as Batman in this next movie but if the story is right he could pull it off.
I think Matt Damon is a better actor than Ben Affleck and I'm curious to see what character he will get if signed on to play somebody in the DC Universe -
Only DC characters I could see Matt Damon play are Steve Trevor (Wonder Woman's Lois Lane and now a JL liason in the New 52) or the old middle aged Oliver Queen Green Arrow with the Van ? who was a womanizing liberal with illigetimate kids and great friends with Batman & Green Lantern. Come to think of it since they're citing influence from TDKR it would make sense to include him in a small role in this new movie since Ollie is not only an enterprising genius like Lex and Bruce Wayne but was also the one who helped Batman get the edge by incapacitating Supes with a Kryptonite arrow in that story.

Bruce Thomas. Played Batman in the OnStar Batman ad campaign directed by Andrew Davis (Under Siege, The Fugitive) from the early 2000's.
