Sitting here bumpin pac and cube thinking how i love militant rap.i love the cole and kendrick type of conscious rap to but that pac type of conscious rap is to ill.i mean that angry,panther,riot,bustin at cops type of music.if k.dot wants to be like pac he needs to drop ish like that. That being said do you guys know of any dope,young militant rbg pac/cube type of rappers? Im fiending for it! Btw i already know of killer mike,dead prez etc theyre old news lol.

Blame it on the old heads that ? on Public Enemy, but ran with NWA's image and "Niggas4Life" album that promoted "real ? ? ." It really harmed HIp Hop's creativity and eventually its spirit of rebellion. Before then, everyone wanted to be different. Since then, every ? screams that they are a "real ? " and they are "true to the streets" instead of being individuals.

I agree ppl need to realize being militant is being a real ? . But i do think niggaz4life was conscious rap at the same time. -

NWA was "militant" but the gangsta element diluted it.
You seemed to forget one of their biggest songs was "? The Police".. -

NWA's first album is great commentary and a classic Hip Hop album. When they got carried away with being "a real ? " is when they ? up the minds of Hip Hop listeners. Half of the 90s ? that people talk about, is what Public Enemy fought against cause it re-enforces black folk stereotypes and limited our creative juices.
This is mainly the old heads to blame it on. When I see throwback threads about classic Hip Hop, PE is mostly left out or get a fraction of the attention. -
Killer mike is dope just to old and washed up. We need a young version of him in the game asap
