She didn't have to roll down her window get out the car or sign the citation. She coulda told him to mail it to the address on her license. -

She was not required by any law to roll down her window all the way. When she rolled it down half way it was sufficient. Also, when she asked to know why she was being cited, he is required to inform her on demand. Truthfully, he's supposed to inform her when he makes initial contact. You know that whole "you know why I'm pulling you over?" is ? . A cop is compelled to inform a driver exactly why they're pulling you over.
The officer was being a ? . Plain and simple. -

A growing amount of people who have no clue about the law seem to think they can do certain things with/around cops. (edit: many of them are in this thread)

Clearly there's no law that says you have to roll down your window for a traffic citation. The cop says he felt threatened but she put both of her hands on the window hmmmm
