Dipset stop making music and jones the only ? that stayed somewhat relevant moved towards that southern sound on his solo efforts. They faded away with the times/style just like young pork chop and zaytoven and lex Luger will when this good awful trap sound fades

the heatmakers are still making noise behind the scenes. they didn't fall off the style of hiphop changed. they are still around and still collecting checks from old material, most of today's production is trash from these new producers anyway. its all the same ? .

It had to be more than just the music, b/c Cam started workin with some knock off Heatmakerz, 'Arab Muzik'. I find it hard to belive they were just 1 trick ponies. I think it was somethin behind the scenes -

Timbaland is off and on until Jay or Timberlake saves him
I could go on and on.... Producers are only hot as they last hit.. It's a lot of legendary producers that aint around no more, not sure why they getting singled out.
People simply ? with the hot producer at the time to try and ride a wave, period. -

I think Cam said something about them wanting too much for beats. So he started working with cheaper producers, both he and they fell off afterwards.
Similar to the beats by the pound No limit situation. IIRC
