Method Man addresses critics who say the TV show, about a ? White rapper, is hurting Hip Hop.
Method Man says he has heard a lot of criticism about his work as the co-star of Chozen, an animated comedy about a ? White rapper who was recently released from prison.
Method Man recently spoke on Twitter about the criticism he has heard regarding the TV show, a program made by the creators of HBO's Eastbound & Down. In his series of Twitter posts, which were published during the week, Method Man said that he does not care about anyone's opinion of a show they have not seen yet, noting that the program is slated to premiere January 13 on FX.
In his Twitter statement, Method Man, who recently announced his The ? Lab project, also says that he did not work on this program for the money. He says he was paid $1,500 - $2,000 an episode. "It was a favor," Method Man says. According to Method Man, he did the work for free at first, only confirming that he was paid after "the show got picked up" by FX.
Furthermore, Method Man chastised critics of the show. "It's a ? cartoon. These same hatin ass nigs cheer for Omar from the wire tho," ? said in a Twitter post. "So ? off wit all that it hurts hip-hop bs only thing hurtin hip hop is u self loathing over opinionated wannabe thug ass ? ..smh."
Omar from The Wire refers to Omar Little, a character in The Wire who is a ? man. Omar Little was portrayed by Michael K. Williams on the television series.
Chozen is said to be written and executive produced by Grant Dekernion, who also reportedly raps on the songs featured on the show. SNL's Bobby Moynihan is set to star in the series as Chozen, the lead character of the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Method Man, Michael Pena, Hannibal Buress, Kathryn Hahn, Nick Swardson, Dekernion and Danny McBride are set to also work on the show.

Ooooooooh these ? gonna tell Lord Jamar on himmmm oooooooooh -
He told y'all!!!

He's saying that cause he's aware of all the DL ? that call themselves rappers so it's funny to see so much ? from people who's favorite rapper has likely already sucked a ? . Including many from his generation himself included.

Smh granted they're might be sure dl ? rappers in the game but I doubt it's anyone major.I mean these nigs can't keep their bm's in check how they gonna keep a panzi mouth from running. With that said f that show nothing beats ? , can't support the rainbow games

Oh you'd be very surprised. Entertainment industry is an extremely ? game and one of the things people with real money and political power in that game love doing most is exploiting those who want money and power especially when it's minorities. Mostly because they know some people are willing to do ANYTHING to get there and they get a kick out of that.
Putting people in compromising positions and extorting them is common behavior. Entertainment game is one of the most gangster and perverted industries around. With that being said as long as nobody is rapping about sucking some old jew peen to be cosigned by the old boy's club I don't really care.
One thing I do know my aspirations of making some major moves in entertainment have been curbed big time after seeing what is really expected to make it on a really major level. Suffice it to say phrases like "casting couch" and "sold their soul" aren't synonymous with entertainers for no reasons.

Real talk that ? suckin ? is 100% real in the industry. I live in hollywood and I see what goes on and have been offered. But ? that cuz then they get your soul.

Yeah. I don't meant to come off on some gossip ? cause I don't have a ? . I'm just telling it like it is. ? got real to me when I saw 2 of my favorite rappers from when I was growing up bagging male groupies like it was nothing at certain functions a few years back since most people at these events knew how they REALLY got down.
Since I believe nothing but my own eyes I couldn't deny any of that ? and chalk it up to "conspiracy theories" anymore. ? was as clear as a window. Funnily enough both have made countless tracks with ? . That ? had me wildin for real as a fan but it's when I realized how bugged out the music game truly is and how everything the average consumer knows is nothing but straight imagery.
Like I said though as long as they keep those acts out of their actual music that ? don't even phase me none. -

You talking about Red and ? ?
But for ? to do $2k per episode is abysmal, for him or any actor in general. -

I really didn't want to name any names. Cause again I don't want to come across on that gossip tip. But since you were so damn close I'll let the cat outta the bagRed and Busta. A great and I mean great majority of rappers are on that bisexual tip. The sad part is I don't doubt some of these brothers were turned on to that lifestyle by some of these perverted ass white execs. They did what was asked of them to stay ahead and ended up just liking the ? in the end since it was so common place.
The funniest ? is that it applies to some of the "hardest" and most thugged out dudes. DMX wasn't lying when he was telling people the music game is riddled with down low fruit baskets. People just thought he was tripping because he's a ? head that is legit bonkers.
But yeah 2K per episode even on animated series is criminal. There is some serious money to be made in voice acting so that ? doesn't even wash.

White people find ? ? hilarious. It'll probably do well. Some of the previews I saw were funny, nh, but I don't really like cartoons/comedy television shows.

Rappers from the Big Daddy Kane era were on that ? tip. Just that now a TV show is capitalizing off of the likes of Mr. Cee coming out and so on and so forth. -

"I be doin it to mics when I'm a heterosexual"
His first 3 joints are still classic though. Like I said I don't really give a fig as long as they keep their fruit loop perversions out of the music we hear.
