First one is a classic imo this one was a little outrageous, but it made me laugh through out. People in the crowd laughed when Tiny Fey, Amy Poehler, Will Smith, and Jim Carrey cameod, but didn't make a sound when Kanye showed up. ? HATE him.
I thought the same thing tho. When he popped on in I was like "ah no not this ? " -
"Unique New York .. ."
-
I saw it tonite and it was fairly good I think .. .
Some of the humo(u)r worked sometimes while it didn't for most of the time
It didn't and can't top the first one but the cameos in this film from various actors showed the series has a cult following . .
I peeped the subliminals at Rupert Murdoch and FOX News. That scene where Burgundy's wife interviews Yasser Arafat and where its cut off for his "Breaking News" on an anonymous car chase was ironically funny .. .
I liked the music on there (Soul Train got repped a bit) and it got it's period detail (the early 80's) on point .. .
Meagan Good was nothing but eye candy -
Didnt think it was horrible but lot of flaws. First and foremost, movie was too long. Second, they tried to replicate the first one but did it so much it was forced and contrived, and over the top for no reason. And what was the point of the blind ? ?
Didnt realize how much i dont like kanye til he showed up and all i thought was why the ? is this ? in the movie. Otoh, Vince Vaughns appearance was trill from start to finish. Sascha Cohen as the bbc guy was funny too. Will Smith was out of place but still not nearly as corny as Kanye.
And i think the cast and crew think Bricks character is funnier than he really is. -
Meagan Good was nothing but eye candy
she looked like a clown caked in make-up... ? was embarrassing... -

"I love black people, one follows me Everywhere I go on sunny days, no brick that's your shadow. "
I died.
Brick> Ron -
It sucked... Out of every 20 jokes one would be LOL funny, two would get a chuckle, and the other 17 you can tell they were trying too hard
-
Anchorman is a classic. I haven't seen this one yet but ? can't hate on how ridiculous the first one was.
-

-
Funny ass movie some of yall taking this criticism ? too serious if you don't like the movie then cool but to say it sucks completely is beyond wrong

The 1st anchorman is over rated imo.
2nd one wasnt as bad as ppl made it out to be. But it was ? . -
you know they made 2 versions of Anchor man 2 with 100% totally different jokes. They were talking about it a few months ago the co-stars
-
Yea I saw they got a version that's 23 minutes longer

The first one was special because it was a movie that us news types understood. Anchorman 2 was not nearly as good as the first. Brick was cool, but there was way too much of him in the movie. Not enough Veronica and she was one of the reasons part one was so successful. Most of the scenes dragged on way too long. It seemed like they wrote the movie, realized it wasn't long enough and just said ? tim ad lib the hell out of these scenes. Should've had more Wes Mantooth in there, maybe put him in the spot that Jack Lame had. I waited for it to hit the 2 dollar theatre and I'm glad I did.
