My Ol'Bird called me and left a voicemail last night talm bout...
..... "Baby, Easter coming up and it would sho be nice if you came by nanas(g-mama) house. We gone be cooking ? roast and the kids having a easter egg hunt in the yard. and hey even I hear Ms. Sadie from church and her daughter Tonya coming over and I think you and her would make a niiice couple. Maybe you can come by and see how she been doing? It's Easter so at least call if you don't come by now. Don't disappoint ya' mama now ok? talk soon. luv you"..
little do mama know I done dug that Tonya turf a few times already. we catch up every other couple months so we got that understanding already. we like our space. she just wanna come over ther and help them cook and eat. thanks for the heads up tho' mama. I know to avoid nanas house on Easter until late night when the leftovers in the fridge...lol

They had me take some chick from church to her prom. Nice girl, but she was slow....no, I mean differently abled.
I went. Awful ? night. She didn't dance, just sat at the table all night with her other friend.
