You guys think its cuz of the short attention span of todays audience or that they were disappointed with the album? From what ive seen the album reception seemed like it recieved pretty well reviews from fans but maybe a bit under their expectations.
But doesnt it seem like the album just came and went? Im just currous to read what yall think about it, is it due to the quality, short attention span or something else. And also what your thoughs about the album is now a few months after its been out.

I actually haven't listened to the whole thing front to back.
I'm not big on Schoolboy Q as a solo artist. Ab Soul and Kendrick are much better imo -
Gave it a listen the other week and it was ok, didn't ? away.
-
It was a alright album it probably has to grow on you.
-
It came and went because it was mediocre and better projects came out right around the same time.
-
School Boy Q is wack. Not a surprise
-
I find his music to be strangely forgettable, just not feeling it lyrically. Ill give it another spin in time but I aint in any rush

damn near every thing these last few years has came and went to me, since 2011 i might struggle to come up with 10 albums with songs i repeatedly go to, i know one thing tho, that cyhi the prynce mixtape came and it aint went nowhere, that ? is the "body of work" of the year, so far.
-
still havent got around to sbq album yet tho
-
Just like most music these days.
-
He gets hype for the TDE affiliation, but the music never lie. Nggas can force themself to hype a ngga, but aint nobody gon force themself to listen to avg music
-
Its funny u made this thread. I've been lurking for 2 weeks wondering when somebody was gonna talk about it
-
I gave it a listen at least 3 times hoping to get a little more each time. So far, I haven't gotten too much back. Although, i do like "Hoover Street" and "Groove Line" a lot more. *Shrugs*
-
There is a thread on it but then Mastermind and Piñata came out not to mention black histori
-
Never listened to it and don't plan to either, that bucket cap wearing ? is wack!
-
interesting...i feel like nothing has come out since then to surpass it and it remains in rotation, it's a solid album for sure, i also feel like he was all over the place a few weeks ago, everytime i turned around he was on
got in my boys whip last night and that was the album he had on too -
I liked this album, but it's not a West Coast classic.
Above average, with a few memorable bangers - nothing more, nothing less. -
interscope just didn't force him upon the masses like they did kendrick
-
Naa still gets play. Went to the Oxymoron tour. ? was live.
-
Most of the albums that come out come and go. Especially on here I usually don't hear ? until it's out to buy. But I know it leaks earlier by the time I get in here to see what people think it's already off the first page. I still haven't gotten around to Mastermind.
-
? need to get on a bunch of features and try again. This ? wasn't it.
-
I still ? wit q
The album was cool -
He dont rap about anything worth remembering
-
I was thinkin about this exact topic yesterday
it did kinda come and go
solid album tho
I haven't listened to the whole album in a while
speakin of TDE, Kendrick needs to put a song or something out, its been a long time -
first few songs i checked out annoyed me with his yelling so i kept it moving. im sure there's a few good ones if i gave it another check. i was thinking the same thing though, the hype disappeared quickly.
