Nevermind he does have "party" hits under his bekt so he's dqd..
-
It also makes me think of rappers who rap about rap "My rhymes are like... lyrical miracles" etc
Ironically, one of my favorite songs is Twista's "Overdose" and he comes pretty close to using "lyrical miracles":
"I'm hazardous, makin musical miracles like I'm Jesus of Nazerath
Yet disasterous, smokin on halves and hash, ? if it's cancerous
Bust ass to the beat cause I mastered this
It's hard to breathe, I'm bustin like an A-bomb
cause I'm in the zone, twenty-two a cold ? up my sleeve
It's hard to stay calm thinkin about the ? that I'm fin' to bone
Hittin my enemies and competition up with lethal blows
that's damagin, flows that's callous and we're leavin
thick ladies frantic and people in the industry panickin
I thought we got in this to get out of pistol handlin
Now it's possible m'uhfuckers could start vanishin
? the Anacin I be toking plenty and stankin from stress
and flowin over notes; them studs thinkin they can get close
I know I got you trippin off the ? a ? said off a overdose"

Also known as "rapping ass ? " aka rappers who can write a fire ass 48 bars like a freestyle but can't write or structure a song. Not talking about a catchy hook, but an actual coherent song with verses that follows a central theme. Every good rapper has the ability to go off on one of these "lyrical miracle" tangents, the great ones know how to still get their point across w/o sounding like they sat and wrote with a thesaurus sitting next to them.

nah that ? was just wreckin....he was actually saying ? ....and a lot of that aint even big words
i need that album again -
Regardless of the original definition, which I for the most part agree with ? on (about it being about ? with all flash, and little substance), it has undeniably devolved into some wack blanket term for low IQ ? to throw at any ? outside of the mainstream club / street realm. Or ? who can rap period, and put emphasis on lyrics over everything else. This includes even ? with substance.
A ? who uses a variety of technicals over a decent beat, even if the ? lacks in overall substance, is better then the ? who's basically ridin' the beat, speakin' that real ? . As long as it makes sense in the end.
And a lot of times, that so-called substantive real ? isn't even anything noteworthy.
It's just content that's relateable to an otherwise simple, sometimes ignorant and ratchet audience.
A lyrical miracle ? to most is just a rapper who can say some simple ? , in a more interesting way.
? who don't hold a lot of value in lyrical ability usually just don't respect that. -

Yeah I know, that's my point. Hence the irony. -
DJ-Mista-Em wrote: »the Mista can be ah lyrical miracle, the recursive money stacka, not typical or reciprocal; but practical and technical, engineering, fascinating code thats magical; she want the pass code, but I told that ? hell no...but it's pitiful how I be dip, drapped and drippped; they got ah big tip, then the slow burner got gripped...the smoke exhaled, then the smoked inhaled...but i can pull out ah bank roll, and not worry about no bail...
UPS is hiring my ?

no disrespect but you suck g

Corey Gunz is a good example. I remember when he first started getting buzz as a teen and people been debating since then if he's lyrical or if he just rhyming words
-
Damn what part of my guess made a ? catch feelings and then click the feelings reaction....lol
-
nothing says "i caught feelings" more than crying about reactions, u ? are too easy lol
-
Lol...I'm not the one clicking reactions.....? , before you get into a street fight, you prolly be looking for reaction buttons...lol..? otta here....

It's a stupid label, imo. It's derogatory and rarely is it applied correctly.
? can't be honest with themselves and just say "Nah, I ain't ? wit that ? . I don't feel like using my brain right now." ? needed a scapegoat and created some dumb ? .
I don't wanna decipher verses filled with ancient history using my pineal gland all the time either, but I'm not gonna go outta my way to bash an artist that challenges the listener.
That's what rappers are supposed to do. Make you think about ? and entertain. -
its not necessarily a bash, matter of fact the rapper is basically bashing himself if thats all he can do w/o making it into a good entertaining song, like nas did with the master and the slave for example, i dont see it as a cop out term that fans use, i see it as them rappers need to step they song game up

K.B. Da Kidnappa is an example of how to rap.

I have never heard the term used as anything other then slander from weak-willed ? .
I rather listen to so called lyrical miracle ? then these one fish two fish red fish blue fish ass Dr. Seuss type ? that are popular right now.
The ? that's coming out of a lot of these rappers today isn't even great artistry or song writing.
It's just some simple monkey ? riding on the coatails of talented producers. MCs aren't doing their part. -
we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, to me it seems that the only one who call it slander or what not are those who catch feelings when its used to describe someone they like, personally although there are times its wack, but there are also times i fool wit it, an artist that comes to mind that i heavily support who does it from time to time is young dro

Why are you campaigning so hard for this guy? If you're trying to get people to support your cause you're going about it all wrong. You may as well give it up. You're wasting your time and keystrokes. And quite frankly, you're becoming a nuisance.
IDGAF about this K.B. cat and neither does anyone else on this board.

weee weee thats all I heard bruh..

A stupid term for remedial ? ...
-
Oh I get it. Kinda like Super Lupe Lyrical right. That's why I had to slow it down myself. Maybe Kendrick would have won some grammys if he slowed it down as well? Hmm
-
@Peezy_Jenkins we understand three/four syllable words doesn't entertain you, but there wasn't a such term in Hip Hop.
