Texas should be winning this, not Cali.

Please, we get a bad rap for a few small ass hicktowns.

Realistically, Texas is probably the most progressive state in the South.

Eh, he's about to be out of here and at least he is showing SOME improvement with his push to decriminalize marijuana.

But yeah, can't wait to see where a fresh governor might take us.

Why are only white people in Texas so sensitive about their state being called racist. Everyone sees it, these the same white people that said they wanna succeed from the U.S. cause Obama was elected.

I'm just venting. This white ? at our job that I knew was racist said the n word. ? apologized and kept her job.

I think some of these (a small number) are pro-black groups they characterize as 'hate groups.'

You can call Texas racist the same way you can call any state racist..cause there are racists in every state in this country.

I only get sensitive when people act like Texas is the example of racism. Over Georgia? Alabama? Mississippi?

    Come on now.

Houston had a black mayor (Lee Brown) who served the maximum amount of terms, we now have a ? female mayor.

NY and PA having more than Mississippi and Alabama is hilarious, especially considering it's almost double.

Texas has a whole city that supports racism. No other state has that. Houston went from a ? mayor to an ex stripper mayor, whoopty doo.

Difference between police brutality in Texas compared to a lot of states is the ones here get swept under the rug and hidden with friendly white people smiles, country music and good wholesome bbq.

Na, black people can't even enter Vidor, TX without being chased by a lynch mob. Signs like this and some ? saying they don't accept ? .

I don't trust no crackers that live in Katy, TX alone.

I heard katy use to be bad not too long ago. Its mostly Mexicans now.

Texas is pretty progressive compared to other southern states. Houston has has had diverse mayors, Austin is one of the biggest hipster havens, I can't speak on dallas and San Antonio but they are lager metropolitan areas that are bound to have diversity. Compare that to Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (excluding Atlanta).

She said it in front of some other coworkers, called out sick for 2 days, came back and apologized. She don't even look my way with that passive aggressive ? bruh.
