Cool C allegedly shot a police officer while attempting to rob a bank. He claims to be innocent but ballistics and videotape place him at the scene of the crime. A jury convicted him of first degree murder and he was sentenced to death but his execution has been delayed since 2006.
What do you think? Should Cool C be executed?
His most notable songs are "Juice Crew Diss" and "The Glamorous Life" Somebody should post those.

No. Capital punishment should be abolished.

If he gets Life and his chances of winning an appeal are based off of a hopeless desperate fantasy then Hell Yeah.
Its an injustice NOT giving someone the Death Penalty in a situation like that. They should be able to set their own date after 4 years and allowed one or two delays.
The Suicide rate is high for people with Life or a lot of time. So why not give them that option anyway. U could even have Self-Assisted Executions -
SAE Laws. Self Assisted Execution

I'm a Criminal Justice major. I'd like to see the videotape and the forensics evidence. I remember Cool C was pretty tall from his videos. He was like 6 foot 6. I think I might be able to look at his music videos and then the video footage from the bank robbery and tell if thats him, even with a mask on.
If he shot and killed a police officer during a bank robbery then he deserves the death penalty.

Never liked that ? for dissin Juice Crew but I use to jam the hell out of it tho.
Btw Steady B. is mad slept on as an old school legend. -
No one deserves the death penalty we are not the ones to decide someone's fate let ? handle that

The verdict every defendant wants to hear -
Steady B snitched

Look if there's video tape that shows him doing it and shell casings on the ground with his fingerprints and dna then he's guilty.
So the question is, if he's really guilty should he be executed? -
Why? -Jadakiss

Cool C did not "allegedly" shoot a cop- he did. Steady B was the get away driver and the 3rd suspect (Canty) was also captured. I am 45, living in Philly and sent to school with these cats. His guilt isn't a question. He killed PO Lauretha Vaird- the first female officer killed in the line of duty. She was African American.
"In 1996, he and another Philly rapper, Cool C, who was best known for a song called “The Glamorous Life“, robbed a PNC bank in Philadelphia. Cool C (real name Christopher Roney) and a friend named Mark Canty actually went inside the bank, while Steady B drove the getaway car. When police officer Lauretha Vaird responded to the robbery, she was shot and killed by Roney (who still proclaims his innocence). She was the first female officer killed in the line of duty in Philadelphia’s history." -
U watching too much CSI! He did it. Everyone knows he did. E panicked and shot her. When she came threw that PNC back door she didn't have a chance. He was the lookout; Canty was the grabber of cash; Steady B was a block away in the getaway car. Plus, this wasn't the first bank they robbed.

Philadelphia Rap Icon Cool C To Be Executed In January
Cool C, who was given the death penalty for killing a police officer in 1996, has been given a date for his execution.
Cool C has spent the last 18 years in prison following a 1996 murder conviction. The Philadelphia rap legend was given the death penalty when he was found guilty for the murder of of police officer Lauretha Vaird in a robbery attempt assisted by Steady B, a fellow member of his rap group, C.E.B.
The rapper was initially scheduled to be given a lethal injection on March 9, 2006, but the governor of Pensylvania granted a delay on the execution. Cool C has now been issued a new date. His execution will now take place on January 8th 2015.
Cool C was best known for his Juice Crew diss track, and "The Glamorous Life" as a solo artist.
Aw, damn.
But, you killed a pig in uniform. You knew the rules. -
Cosign the execution. Rapper or not, you can't rob a bank and shoot a police officer trying to get away.
The death penalty almost always applies to people who are guilty of murder while committing a felony. -
he put himself in that spot so he gets whats coming to him . sad to say

If u bussing at cops during a bank robbery u ready to die. It is what it is.
