The first rap song I remember hearing was Ice Cube "Today Was A Good Day" in my MOm car it was the only rap song I knew by heart.
But what got me really really into rap was when I first heard, "I bomb atomically Socrates philosophies and hypothesis..." and watching Wu-Tang Clan perform on the Apollo on TV and Method Man jumping into the stands I was like OH ? . -
Fresh Prince
I was very young. Eazy E and NWA got me REALLY into it. -
For me it was Will Smith & Jazzy Jeff I think?????? I think the first encounter I had with hip hop was the double LP "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper" by them and I heard 'Nightmare On My Street' and others and was like hey I like this ? !!
I recall shortly after hearing NWA, mainly an Eazy E cassette a friend of mine had, and I was just like, whoa! This is ? DOPE.

My S/N don't got nothin to do with sellin dope, or knowin dope, bein from the hood or none of that. It come from The first song on Scarface's first solo album. During the hook, you hear "Dope Game, ? " ? was sayin it like he meant it, like, that's how we livin. That is one of my earliest hip hop memories. I been a scarface fan every since. He got a ? through a lot of ? .
