Yo... after watching how that whole event played out... and thinking back on it... daylyt is ? genius. His 3rd round is cryptic as ? .
He metaphorically ? on the industry and said ? yall im doing this my way. The hype that the battlers was feeling for taking battle rap mainstream was a drug to them. Delusional. But soon as that drug started wearing off they realize it's not them. "Where am I? what is this?"
The whole event was a joke and daylyt knew this... -
Lux lost plain and simple... Lux apologists now like he won round 1 and the crowd, the mic etc etc the ? lost to Hollow and was damn near embarrassed by Mook... The ending of their battle reminded me of when they cut the mike off on Forrest Gump lol

It's pretty sad when you need dudes like Dizaster, Math, etc that could've helped this event. These guys have no idea how an event like this is supposed to be held

I aint gonna brag, but my top 5 looking mad different and I think Arsonal this year after his debatable vs Aye Verb (had Ars winning the first two rounds), 3-0 Big T, 3-0 Swave, edged a Qleen Paper who was on his ? (debatable), debatable vs Charron even with the stumble, will have a great showing vs Daylyt.. I dunno he in my top 15 again or something.

Im seeing alot of ? on and off here saying Joe won the first 2 rounds, idk man. My stream was ? up alil bit, so i was missing bars here and there. But Joe's delivery was so wack I couldnt get past it.
Anybody got links to the battle? -

just watched Ars and Big T. Ars is made for this, he a professional. Big T is really falling off but i still like the battle even though it was basically a 3-0

On a 2nd watch, that ? was a massacre. Hollow killed that ? . That "hit a woman again" ? was ? made tho. Joe let his emotions get the best of him, and Hollow seen it so he went for the gusto. U gotta have a poker face in battle rap. Hollow did better than what alot of mfs are saying.

Hollow first round was complete trash after re watching it. Joe Budden punches hit harder with facts. Hollow still 2-1

I'm simply perplexed by those that think Hollow lost those first two rounds. His only truly terrible round was his third. He straight bodybagged the whole Shady Records commercialist invasion into battle rap though. He made a mockery of the whole thing and sealed the deal when he didn't come back to the stage at the end. The fact that the event was such a flop just makes his rounds more resonant.
Daylyt kind of did the same thing in his own way.

Yea, i like the battle culture vs the industry angle hollow used. Even his third round was dope imo, other than the "hit another woman" ? .
I dont condone this ? , but honestly, I think I wouldve snuffed Hollow for that ? . Cuz he clearly said stop my time and stopped rapping.
Im bout to rewatch mook vs lux, on first watch I gave it to mook 2-1, with lux edging the first. The crowd was definitely favoring Mook, so ima see if I missed some ? Lux was saying on first watch. -
Hollow only had 1 punchline that was dope at aim Joe that first round. Yall take this industry vs underground thing seriously.. He gets no points spending most of that round dissing Rosenberg/Iovine when Joe is the opponent.

Eventhough I did pick Lux to win, I have been on record sayin I never thought mook fell off, his opponent just didnt show up at sm2. I think thats whats happening to Hollow now, he showed up imo, Joe just came half ass. -
The lux vs mook & Rex vs day would of came off different on that smack stage. That crowd was too slow to catch what Lux & Day was saying, and i'm not even a day fan like that.

Yall too focus on just bars. Angles n crowd control is just as important, and ability to project ya voice n flow without a beat. Too many unknown variables n factors is why no rapper can come in and beat a seasoned battler, esp a top 3 one. What the ? were you ? thinking?
Btw in his last 3 battles, Mook is on an 11 round winning streak, and he bout to 3-O Math next, esp since Math didnt show up for Ored after Dizaster struck. -
Yo, Mooks performance last night mightve been better than lux's vs calicoe. It definitely wont get the same recognition , but he sonned Lux just as bad if not worse than Lux sonned Calicoe. I cant stop smh watchin this ? .

I always liked Mooks strategy of breaking his opponent down irrefutably to the point that he doesn't even have to outbar you. He's out angling his opponents and using powerful metaphorical punchlines to string it back.

Hollow did beat Joey though 3-0 on the rewatch
Joe gave a good effort for a 1st time battler though
Oh I think Arsonal was the star of the show actually.he gave the best all around performance and he sounded great in that big arena compared to others
Ars was on some ? and he controlled that building,Mook too
Mook had a good control of that large crowd
