Yea, i like the battle culture vs the industry angle hollow used. Even his third round was dope imo, other than the "hit another woman" ? .

I dont condone this ? , but honestly, I think I wouldve snuffed Hollow for that ? . Cuz he clearly said stop my time and stopped rapping.

Im bout to rewatch mook vs lux, on first watch I gave it to mook 2-1, with lux edging the first. The crowd was definitely favoring Mook, so ima see if I missed some ? Lux was saying on first watch.

    I got Lux 2-1.

So far, every one of my predictions were right. I picked Mook, Rex (2-1), Ars (3-0), and Hollow (2-1). I'm disappointed because I wanted my Lux prediction to be wrong lol.

Lux's mistake is that he used the same angle for three rounds. The most effective battles are ones that either attack from a different angle each round, or developed the angle in new/interesting ways progressively with each round.

He went the opposite direction. He hit the hardest in the first and then kind of just said the same thing for another two rounds but with less punches.

Them rounds were all about how Joe is a Shady Records ? my ? , a commercial failure being forced out by the machine. And it got proved when Joe tried to walk off stage like he dgaf and his mans made him finish his bars.

Math Hoffa on Dizaster Fight: "It Was a Setup"
Math Hoffa chopped it up with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes following his now infamous fight with Dizaster at KOTD's BOLA 5 battle event.

Math broke down the entire fight and reflected on everything that went down. The way it all played out, Math truly believes that it was a setup, and that Dizaster's Grape Street crew planned to rush him before the battle even began. He thinks that fans believe Dizaster's hyper battle persona too much, and that in reality Dizaster is not that type of person at all.

Math addressed people saying that what happened to him doesn't count as "being jumped," and he believes that that is simply foolish logic, considering the fact that the footage shows multiple people attacking him. He also explained how he came to notice that he got sliced underneath his chin, and that the cut felt like "two lips" opened up when he first became aware that he was bleeding.

Lux lost, but I'm not booting him from my top 5 just because of one L. I need to see him take another battle and see if he can bounce back. Mook battles like 1.5 times every 5 years. He been training for this one for half a decade. Not to take away from his W, I'm just saying I'm not jumping on the bandwaggon just because he won a battle against Lux.

A ? like Clips puts in that work night in and night out.

On a 2nd watch, that ? was a massacre. Hollow killed that ? . That "hit a woman again" ? was ? made tho. Joe let his emotions get the best of him, and Hollow seen it so he went for the gusto. U gotta have a poker face in battle rap. Hollow did better than what alot of mfs are saying.

    Thank you my ? .

I'm simply perplexed by those that think Hollow lost those first two rounds. His only truly terrible round was his third. He straight bodybagged the whole Shady Records commercialist invasion into battle rap though. He made a mockery of the whole thing and sealed the deal when he didn't come back to the stage at the end. The fact that the event was such a flop just makes his rounds more resonant.

Daylyt kind of did the same thing in his own way.

    Quoted and goated..

Mook had bars IDK about this "dumb down" ? ppl are talking. He battled with more intelligence than "Pop" Lux. He did what Hollow set out to do in his own way and it was more effective. Mook is basically an effective debater and he had the advantage of knowing "Pop Lux" from Harlem.

C/S Loch, Ars and Mook controlled the crowd and did great on that big stage. I feel like Hollow and Lux did in their FIRST rounds.

Sidenote Lux had a "sideburns" bar that was fire.

Mook won, but IMO it was not a bodybag. On a different stage, Lux would've got a better reaction. Mook's third was on some etherous ? though.

    1) Honestly, the fact that the fans there were NOT fans of the culture and the horrible sound quality ruined Lux chances... Mook wasnt saying ? ..hes just very slow ? and ? friendly (cool gun bars always win them type over).

    2) Im sick of Daylyt's antics..a clown..he is hindering his shot at blowing up.. he could be one of the best but he is in love with being a ? boy. His 3rd vs Rex is hands down the worst round in battle rap history.

    3) Big T is no longer needed in battle rap as a performer.. do promo or something, fat boy..

    4) Lux has a bad ? .. (the woman that came on stage in the jeans with the blonde hair

I was there and had to re watch the ? how anyone say Hollow got the First round when the only the 112/Jodecie line and rest of yelling, corny movements and filler bars going at Rosenberg and Iovine is beyond me.

Joe kept it simple but factual

10:26 – “‘Cause we had an exchange on Twitter, I was disturbed some / You asked me where’s my last hit, ? where’s your first one?” - Budden

10:24 – “To my lost fans, can’t figure what my aim is / Here I go again making another ? famous” – Budden

10:22- "We could put up whatever he want wager, honestly for me it’s nothin’ major, this ain’t even a battle, it’s like a favor”

10:22 - “But I’m the underdog, in fact / well 200 grand for ten minutes of work? I don’t really see a loss in that”

Those punches anything harder than Hollow Spit that first round.

Agree with a lot of the above except Daylyt. That ? was supposed to be subversive. It's basically a "? you" to this commercialized ? I felt.

Exactly... I wasnt impressed with Mook either. Lux just drowned in that crowd's lack of positive reaction.

I was expecting for hollow to ? Joe buttons fresh from the gate. But sadly, Joe just had a higher consistency of bars.
what ? him up is not knowing that in battle rap, you have to control the crowd. Sometimes, you have to gain the crowd back. Rather than being a total diva and dropping the mic.
What's even sadder, is when Joe pick the mic backup he still had a few more hot Rhymes. HalloW just didn't have enough. Its still a 3-0 for Joe.

and I've got loaded Lux lost, but he actually won just by saying this bar. "This ? got Charlie Clips' grand mother cooking."

The lines against Rosenberg and Ivone were not filler nor irrelevant. That was the whole point. He was attacking the machine, they the puppetmasters at the top and Budden the puppet. It's a bigger insult when you don't even respect the man standing across you as his own individual but as a ? where you're forced to address his controllers. That was the angle. If you didn't like it, that's cool, but I was with him 100%

Except Hollow said on the radio he doesn't even try to make songs, although he might once he hangs it up. He's a battle rap head. He ain't using the ? to segue into music at the moment like the old heads did. It was an OK line, but nothing special and very predictable. Hardly hurt.

More obvious lines about how he's more famous than Hollow. No double entendre. No punchlines. No bars. Just obvious lines. I wasn't impressed, even if the Budden fans in the crowd was.

These weren't even punches. ? was light imo.

That 112/Jodeci line was harder than anything Budden spit the whole battle.

Plus, I just liked Hollow's angle in the first two rounds way better than Budden's approach.
