Part of the problem is that the rappers themselves don't create a Hall of Fame or Award ceremony once they make those millions. Instead they take an entourage of people to strip clubs and make it rain.

He never got any spins on Red Alert or Marley Marl back in the 80s and Funkmaster Flex wasn't giving him any spins in the 90s. People in The 5 boroughs can't name one song by him.
