J. Cole has been an underachiever so far.

Lyrically yes, musically no. not with the last couple albums. If he would've stayed with Fnl/The Cool soundin ? then he would be top 5 right now without a doubt
food and liquor 2 is good imo and I'll take that over the ? drake been releasing but I'll dethrone Lupe when these so called kings y'all naming in this thread top his first two albums -
-
I think Kendrick better than them and Drake tired of hearing it. I respect Cole but i dont ? wit him nomore.
I heard Drakes first 2 albums, only once. Didnt feel the need to replay any of his ? but i couldnt get away from his first. Everyone was playin that around me.
When i first heard of Kendrick, ? was exciting to me n my boys cuz he was spittin and spittin bout ? we could relate to. Every new track we'd be in the whip rollin up all quiet n ? listening.
People still talking about GKMC like it just came out. That album was crafted just about perfect. Aight im done -
Kendrick still performing GKMC songs out here ... We need some new music, ASAP
-
this is what happens when waffle colored ? get together

i dare yall to do that ? .
Damn.

Drake has no business referring to himself as king. He's arguably the worst in his class. Wale, Kendrick, J. Cole, KRIT, etc > Drake.

i was with you till i saw wale...
wale wack.
real talk, that ? music sound like it belong in ESPN's ? jamz cd's...
wale does everything drake does better except with out the singing and he's one of the most versatile and lyrical artists in the mainstream -
Cole
Wale
Kendrick
KRIT.
I ain't riding for anyone else other than those four and the usual suspects.
Drake likes to make off the wall comments from time to time to get his name buzzing but we know he be on that patronizing "mean girls" ? .
Cole is dope as ? and if you dipped back into Born Sinner you'd see the depth he went to on that joint. The title track, ? Know, and so many other joints are just tough so he can lay low for awhile. -
King of strip club songs

There's no "king" of hip-hop right now, too much collusion for there to be honestly
-
GKMC a classic?
-
I honestly like Cole more than both Drake n Kendrick and i bump Born Sinner regularly, so i don't know wtf Kinggivbiz is talkin about.
-
mixed ? ?
-
"Take Care" is arguably Drake's best album and Kendrick had the best verse on it. Andre 3K had the 2nd best verse on it. Unless Drizzy is the king of getting bodied on wax then NO, he ain't the king of the rap thing.

A few mins ago on my Way home
The Green Ranger joint?
Nah, Premeditated Murder
^dat song still one of my fave by Cole . It's all preference. Cole reminds me of Lupe, he's dope if you intelligent enough to cope with it.
I don't like Drake too tough but there's no doubt he's up there in terms of today's industry. -

"Yeah, tell me who controls kings / I don't follow rules, stupid old things" - Drake
"There's rules to this ?
Consult the OG's before you dude's
Make one move on the strip
Before you move your lip
Take the tool off your hip
I'll show you how to do this ?
I'll tell you what type of car to buy
What type of shoes to get
What type of jewels to cop
You could rule this ? "
