The same amount of years sentenced as the number of games an MLB team plays in a season. lol
-
dude a cold thief but damn 162 yrs is too damn harsh.? that killed 5 people dont get that many years
-
But they really want us to believe that jail is for rehabilitation.
You put an 18 year old kid in jail for the rest for his next 2 lifetimes. For stealing some ? and shooting at a dog. -
Lmao the way the article started out made me feel like the kid got into some kind of freak accident arrest. Telling me it was non violent and he never hurt anyone. then dropped the bomb that he was involved in multiple armed robberies. My sympathy kind of went away after that. Too long of a sentence though.

inb4 he kills/gets killed while locked up because of learning disabilities and bipolar disorder
-
That's what that idiot gets for getting caught

A. He is an adult
B. He brandished a firearm during multiple felonies
C. He didn't plead out because his friends said he was the leader
D. He is only spending one lifetime in jail and many of those years will be removed on appeal
-
To be real that ? is a lost cause.
-
I'm not going to rally for no dam criminal. ? y'all think happens when y'all live the life this idiot did. Death and/or prison, tough break kid.
-
Kid's life seems to have been doomed from the start, sad that he won't be able to get a chance to reorient it.

None of that negates the ridiculousness of the sentence. -
Florida already feels safer now that he's locked up.

http://m.jacksonville.com/news/2013-12-16/story/new-contracts-give-private-prison-giant-nearly-80-percent-floridas-private#gsc.tab=0
Between 2006 and 2012, the state’s prison population increased by 11 percent to 100,928. Over that time, Florida’s private prison population grew 88 percent from 5,369 to 10,078. That includes the construction of two new facilities operated by private companies.
October’s shakeup in the private prison industry impacted contracts for Moore Haven Correctional Facility, Graceville Correctional Facility, and Bay Correctional Facility, which had been operated by CCA. The Geo Group estimates the new business will be worth $57 million annually over the three-year life of deals.
Both companies have been very profitable in recent years. In 2012, The Geo Group had $184 million in revenue, while CCA, the nation’s largest private prison operator, brought in $304 million.
Did he deserve jail time. Obviously but if you think 162 years without parole is an appropriate responses then that's foolish. Turn men into slaves in the name of justice. -
Damn shame how they doing the boy Arsonal....

Lmao crazy cause I just seen Arsonal out in the hood last week. -

These men make themselves into slaves. I would understand if we was caught on a bs charge but he committed these crimes. I think the time was beyond excessive 15- 20 would have been ok. Then the question is what is he going to do outside of prison? He would spend his entire adulthood beyond bars. Even without a mental disability it is hard.

Well ? see ya in 162 years ? .
