Fellas, tell me if this rings true to you.
If a black woman says, "I am open to men of different nationalities/races" what she means is "I may consider select brothers, but I'm really looking for a non-black dude."
If a brother says, "I am open to women of different nationalities/races" what he means is that race is irrelevant to him -- or at least he'll smash a non-black chick if given chance, even though he mainly pursues black women.
Rings true?

This is fact. As far as women saying it I would assume she means the same except instead of vaginas it's ? .

If a woman makes any audible noise whatsoever, what she is really is saying is, "I like money" -

Learn how to read. I never said that it wasn't a race thing. I said it wasn't a case of racial profiling, properly understood.A Talented One wrote: »[Brown] wasn't profiled. He was just walking home; the officer didn't suspect him of committing a crime. He just did not regard him as a person whose rights he was bound to respect.
We black men get racially profiled all the time, but let's not act like discrimination and bad treatment is all about racial profiling or stereotypes. Sometimes they just don't like or respect us because we're black. Period.

Does that sound like I'm saying it wasn't a race thing?

People are nocosgining my post about profiling. smh. I still don't see what is so hard to understand.
When we say that police profile using race what we are saying is that because you are black they think that there is a higher likelihood that you have or will soon commit a crime.
If, however, a particular officer does not associate blackness with increased likelihood of criminality but doesn't like black people, and harasses them for that reason (the dislike), then he doesn't really racially profile them.
Sure, he targets them because of race, but that's not enough for something to be racial profiling.
There is a difference between racial harassment and racial profiling.
Why is this important? Like I said it in the other thread, once you subsume all race-based bad treatment under the label of 'racial profiling' or 'racial stereotyping' you make the problem of race seem more tractable than what it in fact is. Sometimes white people just don't like you, period. It is not that they hold stereotypes about you. If it was only a matter of them holding stereotypes, then all we would need to do is to weaken the stereotypical beliefs they have.
So what I am saying is actually something more radical than it might appear at first.

Interesting that a black woman would agree with this. Too bad they froze the thread. Could have had a good discussion.
