Is Chino Xl one of the most under rated and is it because of "Chino XL..f@&! you too!"

Dudes albums are quality material but his name is rarely mentioned.at least on the boards, radio stations, anything to do with mainstream
Doesn't mess with too many known names in the game.a lot of who the ? are they features
If you a fan you know he can rap but people barely bring up his name.u think Pac puttin that line out there had somethin to do with it.he wasn't established and thats prob the biggest/most heard diss record

Chino is ill as ? . But hes too lyrical. Most fans dont wanna listen to music they rather hear it.
I ? with chino heavy though. -
lyrically hes solid but his flow is garbage. if he lost fans its because of his inability to ride a beat

But there's a lot of cats who can spit and never get mentioned
Ras kass, Big L, Cee lo are favorites of mine I never see get love
Big l dead and discussed heavy as bein one of the greats
Cee lo's like multi platinum aint he?
Ras kass I can agree with.tho his game beef and the stuff he released after kinda messed with his fan base -
I never heard a chino Xl track to be honest.

Chino X was actually aiight. First heard of him around '95/'96 when that joint "Riiot" with Ras Kass dropped. That line "I'm trying not to get f*cked like 2pac in jail" was the reason Pac went off on him on Hit 'em up. Also felt that joint "Creep" that dropped around the same time. Chino was dope but one major flaw that could not be overlooked was his flow. This spigga was offbeat most of the time, trying to cram too many lines in a song like Rza or Talib Kweli did. I actually liked Ras Kass better than Chino around that time.
His style of namedropping and witty lines was cool at times, but his flow can't be overlooked. That's why Ion think he's underrated. -
Cant support an artist throwing shots at an incarcerated Pac.
Some things are unforgivable. -
chino xl is proof that sometimes you have to be more than lyrical to be a good artist

@ Muhannad
never heard none of Chinos ? just an real old freestyle. But again just Knowing that he was dissing Pac like that is problematic. Its almost like associating with a known snitch. -
The pac dickriders destroyed his career. They are spamming his videos with ? chino xl. 20 years after hit em up dropped.
Year pac cursed prodigy's rap ability too -
Chino Xl dissed Eminem.
Chino XL has a horrible habit of dissing literaly the most important Hip Hop artists of All TIME. Eminem= highest selling soundscan artist of all time.
? ? making poor decisions.
Eminem: 45,160,00
-2Pac: 29,235,000
-Jay-z: 29,179,000
-Nelly: 21,815,000
-DMX: 17,124,000
-50 Cent: 16,704,000 -
Chino has skill but sometimes less is more.
Chino is like the guy that has a nice car say like a BMW then he throws a ? paint job on it, some whack ass rims, chromes everything out with the stick on chrome package and puts his name on across the windshield. Had he kept it stock with maybe some tint it would have come off nicer and classier. -
I had no idea jay z was at pac level.

Yeah and DMX numbers are even scarier to me because he was only active and relevant for a relatively short amount of time before his personal troubles got in the way. And focused on other stuff like acting. -

he isnt Pac's numbers havent been updated I could've sworn it said 38,000,000 -
As prolly biggest Chino fan on the site Admittedly it wasn't until 2005 that I became one. I wrote him off as a young in as a Canibus type two different MC's Bis will rap bout science ? , XL bout ? yo ? and whupping ya ass in a scrap he just was overly lyrical/punchline heavy.. And his flow was off especially young Chino.
His newer material is dope as ? and while not perfect the flow is waaaay better.
Ricanstruction one of the best albums of 2012. Tons of Dope Punchlines/verses with personal tracks

Never took him seriously especially when I heard one of his song where randomly name dropped Whitney Houston of all people. Dude seemed super duper lyrical to the point he was annoying and lame

I'm too lazy to look it up but I'm sure Tupac is much higher than Jayz worldwide. He was at 75 million in 02, jay was at 50 last time I checked
