name a few Hip Hop stories, rumors, or albums that were big, hyped-up, and shocking when the news first came out that people no longer talk about.
Lil Kim album The Naked Truth gets 5 mics. Everybody was talking about this when it first happen.....the album dropped...it was average....and all the hype died down. Plus a lil cutie wit a ? by the name of Nicki Minaj was starting to make a slight buzz....GAME OVER.
TI vs Lil Flip fight tape that never leaked. In fact nobody even discusses Flip anymore. T.I. has really went from a jus a southern rapper to being a house hold name in in every ghetto and suburb in America.

I remember reading before it was the whole wu tang but after just looking it up, he only beat a few and then killah priest came in and beat canibus -

Basically somebody said Canibus and Wu Tang were in a parking lot outside of a club in Atlanta. They were trading off verses while somebody was playing beats from their car stereo. According to legend, Canibus served each member of Wu Tang one by one with 24 bar verses. Eventually Canibus ran out of bars, or Killah Priest finally shut him down depending on whose side of the story you believe.

It's not a rumor Canibus said it in a XXL interview,plus why would he lie about losing a battle? Especially since none of the clan members stepped up to dismiss his story.
