so what are your initial thoughts on mett?

Let me start with the bad first. there were times that he simply just looked like a rookie and made mistakes at crucial times that cost us dearly (ie: holding onto the ball too long for the fumble, and the interception which both led to points). he also took a while to fall into rhythm.

now for the good, and also the reason im optimistic, he showed flashes of excellent qb play and took command of the offense that made him look like anything but a rookie. so he def. showed what he could be. but i mean so did locker so there's that. but unlike locker, one thing i do admire was how he stood tall in the pocket. he kept his eyes downfield and went through his progressions and didnt seem to let anything rattle him. he is the polar opposite of locker who ducked his head as soon as his first read was covered. again this is only one game so the jury is still out. but if he uses the bye to study on where he went wrong and can get better from here, then we wont need to take a qb in the draft. because lord knows we can use that to fill the many holes we have on this team
