Every latin country has their own specialty. If youre just talkin about spain , then Ill take soul food. If youre including all latin dishes Im takin Latin food.

I've had all most of the foods mentioned in this thread...
I'll just say that while I do have favorites, they all are good.
Yall need to stop sleeping on Hatian food too. When I was in Grand Turk this Hatian lady had a restaurant and I tried the stewed turkey necks and du riz...bomb AF
But the common denominator is that all these people are descendants of the trans Atlantic slave trade....

What is saltfish and ackee? All the Jamaicans I know love it
Saltfish is basically ''cod fish", the same ? they make Mcdonalds fillet-o-fish with. Cod is a fish that's caught up Nnorth in Alaska or some ? . In order for them to transfer the fish from up north they have to layer it in ''salt'' to preserve it, hence the term salt fish.
Ackee is a fruit that is grown in the Caribbean and Asia. In order to eat it the ? needs to be opened up and you boil the yellow fruit inside the pods. If you open it up without it naturally opening, you will be poisoned from the liquid inside.
Ripe
Not ripe
When I father came from Jamaica he tried to feed us that ? . He and the dog was the only one eating it -
