We love Meek?
It isn't really that complicated. The city has a strong relationship with the ? . We've watched him literally grow up thanks to the dawn of the internet age. He's followed all the traditional steps to becoming a great MC. He was a young ? spittin' in cyphers. He evolved into a battle rapper and took his lumps. He then proceeded with classic mixtapes in Flamerz 2, went to jail, came out. Broke wit Jahlil Beatz. ect. And all of this is documented.
Long story short, the city is deeply involved in his story. Watching Meek get out of jail for a Philly ? feels damn near like watching your cousin that you grew up with finish his bid. It may sound asinine to fans abroad, and that's understandable. But it is what it is out here. -

Merry Christmas, Meek Mill
After serving just under 5 months in prison for a probation violation, Meek Mill will finally be released from prison today, according to Steve Keeley of Fox 29 News
Keeley hit it on the head. Meek will in fact be home for the holidays, and though he won’t be able to travel or go on tour, he’ll be able to hit the studio, and we all pretty much know what that means. His sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, was expected to be released on September 9th, and was indefinitely pushed back, but that mission will be back in effect, and we couldn’t be happier.
Steve Keeley can't spell for ? . ? ...that dude tweets like a thug.
do thugs....tweet? -
Hopefully he wont go back.
