Next county from where I am from (Robeson County), Bladen County has a history with the KKK so we all know dude did not hang himself. Around these parts they a lot of racist and prejudice ? .

He's representative of UK cacs in general. This is why I've said on here before European cacs are some of the worst. Often they act like racism isn't even that big of a deal, therefore fighting/talking about it is uncalled for.

Though police have told the Lacy family that ants were responsible for causing the marks, to Newton the state of the body reminded him of corpses he had embalmed where the deceased had been killed in a bar-room fight.

I wonder how will they manage to find out if any of that is postmortem. Should be a pretty good forensic case. -
There appears to be a bigger problem rooted in these incidents that everyone else keeps glossing over:
Why are these "investigations" into the deaths of Black citizens so poorly carried out? I'm honestly being generous when I use that term because these officers are not doing much of an investigation at all. These police are not doing their jobs, then crying when public figures criticize them for it

Moral of the story be strapped. Back in the Jim Crow days local cops never attempted to stop lynchings cuz they were part of the KKK.
