I've been an active member since 08. Took a break for a while and came back.
I put a couple of my ppl on to this site, including my lil brother who began his own posting career for a quick second.
The main thing I've gotten from this site is the bonds built amongst random, worldwide mf's bound by hip hop and being black or a sympathizer/empathizer of the black experience in America.

Growing pains. -
Years ago the IC closed down for repairs for a couple of weeks. I guess some of the members got bored and decided to do a panty raid on the sister site of which I am a long term member. Well most of the guys were pretty crude and they got banned left and right. Frankly some of it was hilarious. Some was mean. Anyway a few of the more evolved raiders invited us to check out the IC to see what it is about and I did. You guys are hilarious and I like the dialogue that I don't really get in my real daily life.

Started posting in 02 then took a break for some years then came back, It was better in the old days now this place is full of ? , I don't know why I keep coming back it must be the boredom.

lurking since.....2003/04 when I was still in the military and started posting in 2005 after I started going to A&T. I was young back then...20 in 03 and hiphop has always been a big part of my life so to come up here and get a chance to learn so much about rap from different regions......? was amazing.....This site has greatly enhanced my love and knowledge of hiphop culture.
Nowadays the reason is wack as hell but I think the music is too so I mostly ? around her in GNS -
