THE GROCERY STORE IS YOUR FRIEND!!!! My goodness. Thats #1 forreal. Eating out (not just sit-down restaurants but any prepared food you buy) is the financial devil.

Try the Dave Ramsey 7 Baby Steps. They are a great beginning point. I am doing them right now myself.. the debt snowball is where things began to change for me. It is pretty simple and straight forward.
