Liking this song. The hook is catchy
I think this is another one of those songs that has multiple meanings. What I got from the hook so far (could be wrong) is a reference to Revelation 14 and the three angels and their message to the world before the end.
the first mentions the "hour" of the Lords return. The second mentions "Babylons" destruction. And the third warns of the Mark of the Beast and what the true believers should do.
this "warnings" are made right before two more angels "reap" the harvest of the wicked world.
so they were right on time.
he uses an analogy and a play on words.Three angels in kind, on time, go straight, don't sine
go straight seems to mean stay disciplined. "Sine" in mathematics looks curved and not straight. But on a calculator, its worded as "sin"...

Afterall the song is titled "Dots and Lines" a dotted line usually refers to a contract of some sort. -

Reading the track list in reverse I can see an origin story (reminisce over new,adoration, madonna etc).
Gonna run it now and see if I get new perspective -

You will. There's a different narrative that's more prominent in reverse. At least, imo. I've heard people saying the album is like a video game too, with Tron being the starting level, another song acting as a tutorial, and finally, Mural being the big boss level.
There's a lot of different ways you can spin this album if you want. It truly is artwork. You and I can hear the same line and have completely different takes on it. Like I feel the adlib on Prisoner 2 is a triple entendre...
On guard - Since the song seems to be about police/CO's
En garde - French fencing term meaning to act defensively
On ? - Slang that we all use or have heard someone else use to try to convey seriousness. "What happened?" "On ? bruh, I don't even know."
