With two new records in rotation — “Ambitionz of a Ridah” featuring DeJ Loaf and the Meek Mill-assisted “Soundtrack” — The Game shared more details about his upcoming album, The Documentary 2, while speaking to Revolt TV.
After initially planning to release it on January 18 — the 10th anniversary of The Documentary — the Compton rapper revealed his long-awaited sequel will now arrive on June 30, which also happens to be his son Harlem’s birthday.
Although his last few projects have failed to live up to his 2005 debut, The Game is looking to recreate that magic for this new album by reuniting with many of The Documentary‘s collaborators, including Kanye West, Just Blaze, Timbaland, Scott Storch and, of course, Dr. Dre.
However, The Game believes the sequel will be better than the original. “I listen to my first album and everyone thinks it’s so amazing, but I think I’m better than that,” he said. “The old me was wack. I’m dope now.”

LOL @sapp08_2001 why you laugh?
*shrug* I'm checking for it. Game didn't put his all into his joint. If he really tried to make another project in the vain of The Documentary, I have faith it'll come out good. he just needs to stop being a cornball trend hopper. -

Damn bringing out a sequel to your best album, thats a genius move. Why did nobody think of that before
-
If he doesn't have Dre producing it I can't see it being as good as the first
-
-
wont live up to the first
-
Game need to find something else to do, his career is over
-
Definitely looking for this he stays on point with the beat selection
-
I doubt he'll get all of those producers on one album again with him being Indy and not having that same budgets the majors may have given him. I'll give it a listen but I doubt I'll buy it.
