syllables/ words don't need to rhyme perfectly in order for it to be a rhyme.

eminem uses a technique called assonance he can rhyme a bunch of words with this technique combined that with perfect rhyming he has even more words to to rhyme like more words in his arsonal.
like eminem does and he gets no flack for it but when nas or pac do it they say they not rhyming which is 100 percent bullsh1t.

I agree the thing is alot of rappers music i dislike part of the reason is i find their lyricisim too complex and don't understand it i'm not saying that's a bad thing for everyone some like this but for me it has to be balanced lyrical but easy to understand
It's not always about lack of artistry e.g. just because a rapper only raps bars and doesn't sing, produce, play an instrument, mix records, dance etc
Nipsey Hussle just raps and doesn't do anything else musically besides rap and i like him i can understand his lyrics he's a lyricist but he is not too complex

Different strokes for different folks. However, there's such a thing as just rapping & still having meaning without multis and pop cultural metaphors (Pac). As appose to those who just rap simple as ? with ignorance behind it (people who try to copy Pac).
